Can someone translate this pic ??

Block 3 ??? ;) willl block 3 have any structural changes ?? The only one being talked about was new hard points

A recent report (November 2016) suggested that 611 Institute is studying a semi-stealth concept of FC-1 (JF-17 Block IV?) to further extend its export potential. The aircraft might have certain stealth features such as a redesigned stealth nose with a one-piece F-22 style canopy.

That's an old fanboy art.

Absolutely, correct.... too much speculation and wish list. Wait and see is best approach at this point. This is just 3rd iteration and there will be a lot more more thereafter including possible engine replacement. We are still at very early development lifecycle. Kaizen approach is always the best; you dont want too many changes which will have their own side effects.

However the ultimate goal is to have a plane that matches capabilities of gripen both in terms of egronomics, operations albeit at much lower cost; airframe will evolve further to leveraging more composites and a cleaner frame which uses the body for lift as well.

Note, i am not referring to f-16 in terms of capabilities because that was never the goal; if however it comes close to it then even better.

Block three is going to have aesa mach2.0 and irst confirmed

Bhai

AESA radar + Helment Mounted Display + IRST + Mach 2.0 + Better Avionics + More payload and Block 3 is truly going to be latest 4++ generation fighter jet.

Mach 2 not happening ... design limitations ...

Although TWR will improve which is more important than speed
