Japan Builds Up Military

Unfortunately, certain CIA assets don't seem to realize that it's impossible to partition strong countries. China also has been through a painful partition and is still struggling to regain our rightful land. I'm very surprised India even agreed to the partition, when the idea of partition came up in 1947 by the US and USSR, both Mao and Jiang rejected it. Why did Indians accept the partition and now see Pakistanis as hated enemies?

problem was based on religion and u can assume the killings done at that time

:coffee: Indians always overestimate their own, but it does not matter.
why are you bringing India in all the matter , this thread is all about japanese military build up . and it focus on china ,

over estimating or underestimating will be decided at the time of war

Thats not gonna happen, coz' China can never afford to concentrate on one front. In the turmoil India-China war, Taiwan will declare its independence and China will always face a threat from US and Japan.

Why would Taiwan declare its indepence if China and India are at war? Do you think a decision like that would be affect by China's relationship with India? You are over estimate the influence of India. Time and again in this forum, India can only look at East Asian affairs through their lense and shamelessly promote station their troops in Taiwan, Korea and Japan to "counter China". If any country that is going to counter China, its US, not India. In the near future, as the technology gap, economic gap and military gap between India and China widen, India would need US military presence in India in order to counter China.

Just imagine India, Pakistan and Bangladesh a single country?! It would be the most powerful country in the world.

I disagree that it will ever happen. If it happenes, it will only come by force. The combined countries will be the country that has the most genocide and ethnic cleansing instead of the most powerful in the world.

India agree to partition because India was never a country until the British unite it in the 1800s. So it was more natural to divide into princely states or by religious line instead of forming a country. They choose to divide by religious lines, with all the bloodshed and ethnic cleansing and all. Also, to Chinese, the national unity has been the tradition for 2000+ years. Its just natural for China to be one. India is inded a very new nation of 54 years. Just a little bit older than most African nations when look at human history. Finally, the culture and tradition of the people in the land where India sits today is very ancient.

You are right, so China supports the USA.
In recent years, Japan has been to find ways to dismantle the USA bases.
And several Japan Prime Minister began a few close to the China, For example: Shinzo amps, Yasuo Fukuda, Yukio Hatoyama, Naoto Kan... Because they know that China can help Japan to become a normal country.
Shinzo Abe was very anti-China. He has sought alliances in Southeast Asia against China, alliance with India against China and once even gave a speech comparing China to the Nazis. Really really bad example. :what:

even their wooden model is stone age, just look at the windows with metal supports. seriously, japan is not what it used to be, and aerospace experience is the key factor, because its not only important in engines, it is important in all other aspects of the plane. building a large scale supersonic wind tunnel to research new aircraft is arguably harder than making the aircraft.
I think the perception that Japan's technological leadership has gone downhill is more a result of other countries moving up rather than Japan moving down. Here's a link to an important metric that measures published scientific papers. In 2000, Japan was 2nd in the world in science output. Today, it's in 3rd place even though it's gross scientific contribution has not declined. It's because countries like China, South Korea, Iran, Brazil, Turkey, etc are starting to contribute an increasing percentage of total world scientific output. The countries with the fastest scientific progress in the last 10 years were Iran, Turkey and China. Japan has the requisite technical base to start and sustain a viable 5th generation fighter program. It's simply a matter of time and money.

Don't turn to the military when the economy is down. That is a way to reach unrecoverable positions.
When the economy is not looking well, need to solve the underlying problem first.

They've tried for 20 years. Why do you think they have 3 prime ministers a year?

Not really Indian did not agree for partition. There were 2 political parties at the time of partition in India. 1) National Congress 2) Muslim league ["so called 'spokesmen' for muslims in indian subcontinent"]. They said muslims in India did not wanna live with 'KAFIRS' [kafir is a derogatory term used for non-muslims.] so they wanted separate state for muslims. And even though britain won WWII they suffered severe damage and it was not possible to control such a big country for long and they wanted to get out of India as soon as possible. But any resolution for "united India" would be rejected by muslim league and any resolution for partition would be rejected by national congress. So, it was next to impossible for britain to concede independence who were in such a haste to leave India. So, national congress offered muslim league to rule india but league did not agree they just wanted 'separate state for muslims'. So, british tried to convince congress saying that 'like this you will never get independence the only way to gain independence is to agree with muslim league's conditions.' So Indians never wanted partition just one political party [hungry of power] did.

I hope now you know about Indian partition and why it occured. :)
