Jaguar Crashed in UP, Pilot killed!!

Without knowing don't talk. The reason this is happening is because MiGs have crossed their service limits. IAF has one of the highest clocking hours in the world. MiG-21s are designed for 2 sorties only (After 40 years of service) a day while it does minimum 4 sorties. This is only an example. If you were to use Q-5 Fantans like a commercial airline flying like crazy, even your crash rate would be abysmal.

Compare this to the crash rates of MiG-29s and Mirages.. very very low. This is because most of our assets are simply being used since early 70s and late 60s. Thanks to corrupt government.

So , effectively you are conceding that your MO department or flight ops department are totally inept at handling their AF??,,,while pakistan is not becasue we have maintained Fantan and F-7 quite well IMO.

then also keep the population of india in mind while talking about your economy adn GDP and all that. You have a billion + population to feed as well.

Talk about hypocrisy.

Our economy is 10 times larger but our airforce is twice? We spend much less % of GDP on defence than pakistan. We do not take any military aid. our per capita income is more than pakistan. so who is talking hypocrisy here?

Forgive me if i'm missing on anything.....

If you are not blind and can read English much read the post and understand it. Or so frustrated that cannot read it? It is about 2008 why did you add 2009 and 2010? Did I mentioned same for PAF? No.

Are you same like him? Cannot read it is about 2008?

taking the thread off topic, but, you people dont have a effing WoT to deal with!!!, things are very different so you cannot compare the economies of the 2 countries. And more than half of the military aid is taken in between by the politicians, even kayani has said so. Enough on this topic, lets get to the thread at hand.

Are you picking 2008 for the sole fact that PAF equals IAF only that particular year??,,,,,1000 in 40 years, speaks for itself, PAF doesnt have that kind of atrocious record!

which -- i believe -- leads us to a grand total of thirty (30) for the IAF......22 of them being fighter aircrafts

Dude u forget yesterdays mig-21 and todays Jag??? and maybe more... :D

You started it anout want to get back to the topic? lol

Another crash of a fighter..... damn this is getting serious...hope MoD grounds all these antique ones and value human lives.

And thanks for all the "ones" celebrating India's crashes.

Are you picking 2008 for the sole fact that PAF equals IAF only that particular year??,,,,,1000 in 40 years, speaks for itself, PAF doesnt have that kind of atrocious record!

2008 hurts!!!

If you have data about other years share. It will be same. PAF has twice the attrition rate than.

yup 2008 hurts, but these werent crashes, most of them were crash landings, and sorry, cant find an atrocious record for PAF like 1000 in 40, becasue we dont have one like that.

Now, bye bye.

hmm well gee whiz; going by that logic, then PAF lost 5 FIGHTER aircrafts (compared to your 22)

3 from the list you kindly provided, as well as an F-16 which crashed @ Khoshab in 2009; and a Mirage-III (non-Rose) aircraft which was due for retirment (unfortunately, the pilot -- Fl Off. Yousef was martyred in the incident)

well unlike some others, IAF has the fuel to fly!!

You have to aircraft to crash.

and those aircraft should be those who have paid for.

Freebies crashing is no big deal!

what a failed argument
