Ishaq Dar likely to hold meeting with Zardari in Dubai today

ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar is expected to leave for Dubai today to meet Pakistan People’s Party co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, sources told Geo News.

Dar is taking the trip on the advice of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in a bid to ease tensions between the two parties, the source added.

Both political parties are expected to evaluate the threats to democracy which the country faces.

Several senior leaders of the party including its chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari are present in Dubai. Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah is expected to arrive in Dubai today.

The PPP and PML-N in the last few months were at loggerheads over the issue of Panama Leaks— secret documents where the Prime Minister's family was alleged to own offshore accounts.

Matters such as the extension of special powers of the Pakistan Rangers in Sindh may be discussed in the meeting.

Due to the delay in extending the paramilitary force’s special powers in Sindh, the Rangers have stopped various activities to curb law and order including snap checking of vehicles and detaining suspected individuals.

The paramilitary force has played a major role in curbing crime in the southern metropolis of Karachi.

Since 2013, acting under powers bestowed on the paramilitary force under Article-147, the Pakistan Rangers Sindh conducted multiple targeted operations in interior Sindh during which 533 suspects were arrested. Those detained were handed over to the Police and various law enforcement agencies for processing.

The PML-N won the Azad Jammu Kashmir elections on Friday by a landslide majority; however the PPP alleged it of rigging.

Usual how to fool Pakistani awam again this time. Normally its "You scratch my back I will scratch your's" but in case of our politicians its is "You help cover my sh*t and I will help cover your's"

Many factors involved but few are as under IMO.

First of all there is no such threat to democracy but surely to corruption and traitors so all them gathering to cover the face, the corrupt tracks left behind.

PMLn and PPPP and are in agreement to support each other since long. These both parties are suppose to play and rule side by side while portraying an opposition which is not there and the supporters will fooled as usual. Internally, none of these parties/leaders are concerned with democracy or growth of Pakistan but indeed they have agendas by their good links, brothers and business partners out of Pakistan. These both parties are like puppet to foreign powers because the black, looted and stolen money is deposited and safe with the masters till the day that PPPP & PMLn play by their rules.

Not going to long back but after the Panama Leaks, recently both these parties reached to an agreement that PPPP will mostly divert its politics towards IOK and India while PMLn will be having a relief in these leaks that would face only PTI while announcing the development projects only, supporting the Karachi peace to win the hearts. By this coordination, in the end PTI will be alone and there will be no such strong opposition as well as most of the protests will go in vain by this strategy as PPPP & etc party supporters other than PTI will off-course follow their party's stand.

In short, most probably, looks like the NS has decided to leave but only from the office of PM and bring in someone like a puppet PM as we have witnessed during PPPP era and will adopt the course to become the president as Zardari did to attain the immunity. I feel like, NS is more concerned to overcome the damage and questions that has to face starting from Panama Leaks to back there.

It looks like now a days that more of intention is to become a political martyr or seek ways for immunity. Criticizing the military and such institution is the best selling book by these so called political leaders by harassing the people in the name of Marshal Law. Till now, there is no sign of possible Military rule at all in Pakistan but these both parties mostly trying to sing for the same so could people may not concern other main issues. From the treason of Achakzai towards KPK in Afghanistan to the silence of current Government in case of involvement of our enemy in Pakistan and as well as ANP along with other foreign paid traitors opposing the CPEC should be the main issue and core concerns that such subjects evolve around Pakistan mainly and by redressal of these points, most of the problem that we are currently facing, would be solved. While looking at the solution and rectifying the main issues, there is no one/party could be seen that may have solutions and attitude with bonafide intentions for this motherland.

IMO, it has been the strategy of these so called public leaders that never to arrange any political meeting in Pakistan by fearing the Military most that their inside stories for planning against this nation or ill planning be leaked and or their treason and anti national agendas be revealed upon people. It is clear that foreign meetings are to plan something for their own face and corruption while coming up with a cover story to misguide the people.

The recent failed coup attempt in Turkey is a clear sign and very easy to understand that people will only stand against any treason or rebellion where the leaders are more loyal to the nation than their personal interests. In case of Pakistan, just for the sake of arguments, if Military takes over which it will not then almost of the people would be supporting the same. However, IMO the military take over is not the solution but making the institution strong, educating the people about real issues and highlighting the internal traitors is the best way point to start towards growth and greater Pakistan.

A care taker government may took place by firstly only concerning the cleaning of these traitors and corrupt people, banning them and alike from elections even if it takes 3 or more years then there may be the general election so the people may choose only those who are systemically cleared. The system is already here but just needed the implementation.

This is why I curse the current Constitution there is nothing binding for polititions who want to be part of govt they must not do any business they cannot do policy meetings out of Pakistan they cannot have dual nationality they don't have any type of accounts in other countries these are the major issues

If people who has bread and butter inside Pakistan and the future of their children in Pakistan I guarantee you they do something better for Pakistan

Problem is Constitution do not have any thing to cut down foreign agenda polititions to do politics in Pakistan
