Both Challenger and M1A2 have been known to take hits from Kornet and suffer minimal damages. The only way to destroy the M1A2 was attacking it from the back. Most US tank casualties at Iraq are M1A1 and not the later. And Challenger 2 is considered to be the most armoured tank. The Leopard 2 tanks outperformed US tanks in the recent tank games held by NATO at US.

And the "most protected" is only claimed by Israel.

That's according to Israeli records. Actual records are much higher. Also, note that the purpose of ATGM is to penetrate the tank and the numbers are much higher in that case. And not all those were fired at tanks. Some were fired at fortifications, other vehicles and soldiers.

I have to disagree on that. The powerpack of Mk4 is a US licencebuilt version of the Leo2 engine. The 120mm gun is in no way inferior to German and US 120mm guns, neither is munition. The gun stabilization and fire control equipment is top of the line, as is battle management system. The armor pack is modern, and active protection system included. The design optimized crew survivability. Claiming Merkava IV is not in the top tier MBTs without (source reference of) explanation why it isn't top tier just doesn't do.

The design purpose of ATGW is to destroy tanks, to put them out of action, preferably permanently.

As michines, tanks are expendable, while trained crews aren't. What counts here is (comparatively high) crew survivability.

3:44 you can clearly see 2 explosions, thanks to the Trophy, the tank wasn't even hit. the molten jet went to its side.

6:10- That's a T72, totally, the Merkava doesn't have fuel on its back, it have side armor covering the tracks, and the Merkava has 8 wheels and not 7.

The 120mm gun can't penetrate the M1A2 and multiple shots at the same spot needs to be used to penetrate it. It also uses depleted Uranium rounds and armour compared to Israel's "Composite matrix of laminated ceramic-steel-nickel alloy. Sloped modular design". It can withstand 1,300mm of HEAT as well (hull and turret).
