Ra'ad Air Defense System

Raad or Ra'd is an Iranian aerial Defence system deployed in September 2012 by Iranian weapon experts. the system is designed to enhance Iran's capabilities in terms of defense, and as a partner to Bavar 373 air defense system. The Raad, is more advanced than its Russian predecessor and is designed to confront fighter jets, cruise missiles, smart bombs, helicopters and drones. the system is also designed specially for US fighters. The system is equipped with 'Taer' (Bird) missiles, which can trace and hit targets in ranges up to 50km and in altitudes from 25 to 27km (75,000 feet), Ra'd is ranked as a mid-range radar system and air defense system.

So Iranian-made anti-aircraft missile system Ra'ad can target aircrafts 50KM flying away at the height of 27KMs.... Thats quiet a capability I must say...

Iranians are building a long-range anti-aircraft defence system too..that is suppose to be tested in March , 2013...

Wait till March 2013 .... Iran plans to reveal its Bavar 373 sometime next year...

Something like S-300 or S-400 will completely close any chance of Israeli air attack on Iranian nuclear facilities...then , only U.S would be the one with that capability...

IRanian S-200 Air defence system

Iran upgrading and optimized S-200 air defense system.
In November 2010, Iran successfully test-fired its sophisticated S-200 anti-aircraft missile systems.

Iran's S-200 system is a very long range, medium-to-high altitude surface-to-air missile (SAM) system designed to defend large areas from bomber attack or other strategic aircrafts. Each battalion has 6 single-rail missile launchers and fire control radar. It can be linked to other, longer-range radar systems.

Each missile is launched by 4 solid-fueled strap-on rocket boosters. Maximum range is between 200 and 350 km depending on the model. The missile uses radio illumination mid-course correction to fly towards the target with a terminal semi active radar homing phase.

1. What does Iran have for above 45 km?
2. I know that the Iranian copy of S200 is mobile, high range and more accurate based on the reports. As far as I know, the upgraded mobile S200 has 200-400 km range of action, which means the upgraded mobile S200 is ahead of S300 and close to S400.
Now this is my last question: How robust is the upgraded mobile S200 to jamming? How robust is it to chaff tricks?

Looks suspiciously like the American AN/MPQ-50, associated with MIM-23 Hawk system
