Chittagong, Oct 2 (UNB)-Vising Indian Navy Ship INS SUJATA and Coast Guard Ship ICGS VARUNA left Chittagong on Tuesday after a 4-day goodwill visit to Bangladesh.
During the visit, Commanding Officers of the Indian ships paid courtesy call on Area Commanders of Chittagong Area Naval Command.
Besides, officers, cadets and ships company (Sailors) of the Indian ships visited different training establishments of Bangladesh Navy. They also played friendly football and basketball match with Naval Team of Chittagong Naval Area, said an ISPR press release.
Commanding Officer of BNS ISSAKHAN Captain M Sajjad Alam, BN saw the ships off at Chittagong Port. Besides, BNS SANGU accompanied the visiting Indian Ships up to the territorial water of Bangladesh.
The Indian ships (Offshore Patroll Vessels) arrived Chittagong on September 29 on a 4-day goodwill visit to Bangladesh.
