India Wants to Be One of the World's Biggest Arms Exporters

When a country famous for cheap, low quailty stuff can become arms exporter, definitely every country on this earth can if it tries.

For a country that can't even make those "cheap, low quality stuff", becoming "One of the World Biggest Arms Exporters" will remain as a pipe dream until it learns to shut up and work hard.

The thread is India WANT to be big exporter. the word WANT means we will try for it from now .
Success or not depands on time but sure we will try and the thread is true .

The First secret of win - start the race.

It doesn't matter how much you "WANT". It does sound a little ironic if you NEED to import simple weapon like rifles and howitzers while you WANT to be a major arms exporter.

Go home retards. Nobody other than Pakistan, Bangladesh and Myanmar buys your weapons. Or African nations like Algeria, etc. Don't embarrass yourself by telling how China has managed to export weapons to the world.

India should stop buying weapons from other nations first and use indigenous tech. That will reduce the exports from other nations and will put others down on rankings, and will push India upwards.
Russian bought engines for their newest frigates.
Argentines bought Z-10 helis.
Alof of nations like Egypt,Venezulla,Peru,Chile use Pak-Sino K-8 Korakoram Eagle..

Kuwait and KSA bought PLZ SP Guns etc etc

India, backwards, primitive, deluded.. All the key words used in less than 3 pages. Good Job.

It is surprising to see Chinese, the poor, impoverished, backward people 30 years back now boasting of their shiny ordinance and claiming no other country can do it.

But hey, they did it once. Kudos to them.

What are the Pakistanis stroking the Chinese here for?

Yes Yes, Chinese.. Iron brothers.

Just take the number as a pinch of salt.
Labor cost in india is much cheaper than USA.

Electricity price in India is 8 cents/KWh. China is 8 cents/KWh. Japan is 26 cents/KWh. USA is 12 cents/KWh.

You don't need any other thing other than machines running on electricity and labour to manufacture stuff.

So, US defence budget of 600 billion will produce same amount of stuff as 300 billion Indian defence budget.

Only 2 pc people in india pay taxes, far lower than actual earnings. Government mainly earns via taxes from citizens.
It is well estimated that tax collection will increase 2x because of acts against black money. So, government expenditure is expected to shoot up from coming years.

Indian GDP as per PPP is almost 8.7 Trillion $, and its GDP as per Nominal is 2.3 Trillion $.

That means our PPP is 3.8 times the nominal.

So if our Defence budget is 60 Billion $ in Nominal, it is equal to 228 Billion $ if it was to be 100% built in India.

Not bad when you compare to the US. This is why local R&D is so important.

That's not true. GDP in PPP terms includes cost of all goods and is averaged over several things. And you cannot use the same ratio for defence budget.

Let me give you an example:-

Real estate GDP of India is 150 billion USD in nominal terms. Rent is 10 billion USD.

Source: ibef
org/industry/real-estate-india.aspx

"The Indian real estate market size is expected to reach US$ 180 billion by 2020."

In UK, real estate is 165 billion USD. While rent is 115 billion USD.

Source:-

edmundconway
com/2015/02/real-estate-britains-most-disappointing-industry/

"Back at the turn of the millennium it accounted for 9.4% of UK gross domestic product, compared with 12.8% of GDP which came from manufacturing. Today it accounts for 11% of output, while manufacturing provides 9.6%"

India has 20x more homes than UK. And has higher number of high rise building, etc. But Indian real estate GDP is nominal terms is half the size of UK. In PPP terms, Indian real estate will be 7x bigger than UK.

Most of the deficit in Indian nominal and PPP GDP is caused by real estate.

Which has no meaning if you talk about defence expenditure.

So, you cannot say that as Indian PPP GDP is 3.9x bigger, you can use the same ratio for defence expenditure.

I am sorry but that is the most idiotic thing I have heard.

Cost of bus travel in India is 1 cent per km (govt. bus). In the US its 7.8 cents per kilometer.

Labor cost in India is 40 cents per hour, in the US its 150 cents per hour.

Price of Rice in India is 14 cents per kg, in the US its 180 cents per kg.

The population density of India is 382 people per sq. km, in the US its 25 people per sq. km.

Its foolish to compare real estate prices and ownership patters to understand the economy of both nations. PPP vs Nominal gives a pretty reasonable picture.

The thread is India WANT to be big exporter. the word WANT means we will try for it from now .

The First secret of win - start the race.

the thing is more then 3 decades ago, Indians already talked about starting the race. Yet Indians are still at the starting line today when others are already reaching the finishing line lulz

Then you are more foolish as you are comparing rice prices in both nations to understand the situation.

your wall text-long of grandmother stories are so atrociously bad that even your fellow country men have to call you out lulz

We have a lots of goods in our defense inventory which we can offer to other nations at very competitive rate. It includes artillery guns, ammunition, rifles, short range missiles, Short and medium range SAMs, Choppers, attack helicopters, Glide bombs, SAAW, electronic warfare systems, Cruise missiles, torpedo, Radars and lethal warships etc. We can supply many parts of different weapons, Motors etc We can provide satellite menageries for defense and make military satellites etc. We have a great potential to export military trucks, Jeeps and other small military vehicles.

But we cannot sell those to Pakistan, Bangladesh and neighbouring nations. Who will keep buying from china (75 pc of exports). Only to keep up their exports and delude people here as how china has crossed some finishing line. Lulz.

Who said that we want to sell it to Pakistan. We can sell it to middle east, Africa and even Europe.

ya u cant even make your own decent working rifle, still wana talk about exporting arms.

manufacturing arms is a complex industry that requires high IQ brainpower.

Low IQ folks can only manage that much- there's a limit.

And your problem is? Why the hell you are talking about it. Hmm strange idiot..

Military hardware is not the only thing that will make others buy Indian weapons. Geopolitics is also a major factor.

Saudis will keep on buying from USA despite high military hardware prices of American equipment.

Pakistan will keep on buying from china even though Chinese military hardware is of lower quality compared to Western ones.

I will give you an example:-

Old thermal power plants that China will dismantle from its land & are to be installed in Pakistan for supply of electricity at the rate of 17/Unit in rupees. Which Pakistani will buy at 2.75 times the present rate.

China managed to sell Chinese coal to Pakistan even though it does not benefit them.

So, geopolitics is as important as quality and price of your military hardware while selling it to other nations.

India has to make friends at international scale who will choose Indian hardware over American ones.

do you have sources to back this claim?

Don't care about mentally disturbed clowns here. they are extremely proud of supplying cheap manufacturing labor to American companies.

He thinks being great at labour work like manufacturing implies good intellectual ability.

They get dumber and dumber on PDF. Huh.

India manufactures so many stuffs and we don't even consider it something to brag about as it is way below our limits.
