Learn how to calculate when you add a couple of variables in it. Learn to read before you solve the problem.

What Indian members on this forum need to understand is that these sort of comments are simply a way for our revered neighbors to vent out their anger and frustration and all that steam that gets built up after reading such news!!So just keep ur cool. . . .

And why just 22 apache??

Because it's meant to be the replacement of the Mi 35 in similar numbers and with Rudra / LCH coming, we don't need high numbers of Apaches anyway. Most of the fire support roles will be taken over by them, while the Apaches can play special roles, with their advanced avionics. But wait for the next battle between IAF and IA for them!

@ Sancho

Bro is there any intention to develop an AN/APG-78-equivalent millimetric fire control radar
for LCH ??

Will there be advaced versions of LCH like Mk-2 and Mk-3 in future?

it is also include 812 AGM-114L-3 Hellfire Longbow missiles, 542 AGM-114R-3 Hellfire-II missiles, 245 Stinger Block I-92H missiles and 12 AN/APG-78 fire-control radars,

Well done to India and the USA, India have a beast of a copter on there hands here, trust me 22 Apaches are enough to make most armored columns run away with their tail between there legs.

It's obviously why your neighbors are in this thread spinning their usual ****, I think they have just soiled their pants in fright.

Imports.

Seriously, can your country make a single weapon by yourself, through innovation or reverse engineering?

The numbers always can be increased of course, we usually make contracts with the possibility to get optionals, my point was that we don't really need such high numbers as some members belive. There is no heavy and light class with combat helicopters, like we have with fighters.

Of course and I'm sure that will be a long term plan, but you don't need such radars for each helicopter in the fleet. Also there will be later upgrades of LCH, but maybe we should wait till the final specs of the first version are out, before we start discussing future versions. We shouldn't do the same mistakes as our industry does with dreamining about the future, before succeeding in the present.

Can someone pls tell me why the no mismatch between helicopters (22) and Radars (12)?

As stated above, not every helicopter needs a radar for combat situations, with 12 roughly half of each squad will be fitted with a radar.
