Maybe I am wrong here but last i heard Ayni was supposed to be jointly operated by Indians and Russians ? And they wanted to deploy a decent fighter squadron which could be operated by both IAF pilots and RuAF pilots hence MiG29s were stationed ? Or is this about Farkhor ?
