A lot seems to be happening on Afghanistan these past few days? 56-inch ki chatti?

Article here, excerpts below:

...

PESHAWAR: Acting Indian Consul in Afghanistan, Rajiv Goswami, has demanded the Afghan government to provide land for the building of Indian consulate in Nangarhar province.

According to an official statement of Nangarhar government available with the Afghan Islamic Press (AIP), Rajiv Goswami called on Nangarhar Acting Governor Maulvi Attaullah Lodin on Thursday in a bid to expand diplomatic ties between the two countries.

What's up with that 56" inch ki chatti jibe? Any insecurities you want to share?
It's a good move, India must do what is required to strengthen ties between two countries.

good! We need to work with afghanistan for their infrastructure development! We need to have more engineering and education deal with them. Lot's of work to be done to make Afghanistan stable place at least.

Looks like R&AW is expanding it's presence in the Af-pak region

first handle the terror spreading center of Lal masjid in Islamabad.

Woh nahi hoga unse... In 2008, Hen. Pasha had called Baitullah Mashud a patriot.. We all know what kind of patriot he turned out to be.

OT : Good development. With more and more people to people engagements happening, more consulates should be opened to ensure Afghans do not face difficulty in Visa procedures.

Are woh to apne Bhai hai, unko kya marna.
just fyi,
for past 2 days there has been big protest outside lal masjid in which politicians also participated.
yesterday the protesters managed to file an fir against that idiot mullah for threatening peace of Islamabad.
so no, woh apne bhai nahi hai.
yesterday in interview with dawn our defence minister made it very clear that anyone who shows sympathy with talibs is an enemy of pakistan and will be dealt with.

Strategically it is indeed good for the interest of both governments but Nangharh and Nooristan, I believe are homes to taliban. Would it be safe to have consulate there?
of course it will be safe. talibs would never bite the hand that gives them their shiny pennies.
they will make extra sure of extended comforts made available to their Indian brethren. :D
