What's new

India is the Last BRIC standing

There was no country named china. It's the name of a region ruled by different dynasties and at present it's ruled by CCP.

China is a cocktail created out of many ancient nations of Northern Hans(original Hans), Southern Hans(assimilated Hans), Tibetans, Mongol, Uyghurs, Manchus(Jurchens) and Miaos etc. and there is no historical/cultural sense of Chinese nationhood among non-Han Chinese who are the original inhabitants of more than half of China. That's the real Chinese history and identity. ;)

Even the name china is given by us.

Unlike Indians, there is no cultural/historical sense of being Chinese that's why they keep on parroting about Qing, Ming song dynasties. Infact, the Southern China was non-Han majority just a 1000 years back when Tang dynasty assimilated them as Han people around 9-10th century while Qing Dynasty(who were referred as barbarians and loathed by Chinese) doubled the size of China by late 1700s. But they keep on parroting how China has existed since 221BC.:rofl::rofl:

what's NPA?

Non-Performing Assets, in simple words bad loans that cannot be recovered anymore and need to be written-off from the books. China has built lots of ghost cities that remained unoccupied, they have also invested in lots of excess infrastructure or duplication of existing infrastructure in the same place that is not required, though all the investments for such projects were added to the GDPs of previous years; jacking up their GDP manyfolds, but all the loans and advances for these projects are becoming NPAs. Add to that, real estate prices in their cities have skyrocketted to unrealistic heights and heading for a major correction and more bad loans, remember sub-prime crisis of 2008? Their economy is surviving off the huge stimuluses by their government with diminishing returns, but it can't continue like that forever. @SarthakGanguly Chinese economy is like Steve Jobs, looking glamarous but slowly dying for sure.

Distorting and trolling Chinese history again. It's not going to make your Hindutva version of Indian history more credible. You only degrade the quality of this forum.

"Indian" refers to nationality, not an ethnic group like Han Chinese. Our cultural identity had been formed over 2000 yrs ago. During Tang dynasty, Southern most part of China that includes Vietnam, had many non-Han ethnics groups. These people still live there today as minority group. They don't form half the country. Qing is a Manchu-Chinese alliance, we expanded our own empire, what's your issue. Yes, China was formed in 221BC.

The Qing was accused of destroying traditional Han culture by forcing Han to wear their hair in a queue in the Manchu style. It was blamed for suppressing Chinese science, causing China to be transformed from the world's premiere power to a poor, backwards nation.
so much for expanding your empire?

India was a group of kingdoms before the British invasions. Han Chinese make up more than 90% of Chinese population, India consists of many groups.

The historical China is just the Northern China around Yellow river plains, modern China is a association of many nations unrelated civilizations of Northern Hans(the Real Hans), Southern Hans/Tang(assimilated as Hans), Tibetans, Mongol, Uyghurs, Manchus(Jurchens) and Miaos etc. ;)

'Indian' is a historical civilization that flourished in our historical homeland Bharat(between the Himalayas and the seas) as mentioned by our ancestors. ;)

Manchu were vassal to Ming for centuries. They later allied with Han Chinese troops to take Ming throne. The flag of Qing is a Chinese dragon, the governing system is Chinese civil system, language also chinese. The emperor claimed Chinese mandate of heaven to be Chinese emperor.

Anti-Qing started by old Ming loyalists, it happens whenever there's dynasty change, nothing new. After China lost in Opium war 19th century, Qing had to sign unequal treaty. The movement gained wider acceptance, not to restore old Ming dynasty, but to end monarch rule of China.
