India cannot defeat Pakistan militarily

A war isn’t just fought militarily. Yes it is true india cannot win against Pakistan militarily. But what about every other domain? From proxy war to propaganda to international lobbying to economy, india is dominating all by a large margin. While we celebrate tiny victories like 27 Feb, india is chipping away Pakistani territory inch by inch. Before the war was over liberating IOJK but now it’s going to be over defending GB and AJK. Where once we had many allies in IOJK fighting against Indian occupation, now in AJK and GB we have strong voices comparing Pakistan as an equal occupier go india. Indians have successfully got our military engaged in Balochistan and ex FATA through their proxies. Why would they need to fight us militarily when they already martyred more Pakistani troops with their proxies than all the Indo-Pak wars combined?
Go search up Pakistan on Google and you’ll see why Pakistan is losing. A single search for Pakistan on Google and all you’ll see is indian propaganda which successfully has built an anti Pakistan narrative across the world. Remember the fake news about the grave incident a few days ago? Check how Indian propaganda machine embarrassed Pakistan with that fake news. What’s the point of boasting about our military capabilities when Washington won’t sell us big ticket military weapons anymore without indian approval? Indians are the second strongest lobby after Israelis in usa. Where is Pakistani lobby in usa? Indians targeted our weapons supplies and now we’re forced to a select few which aren’t on good terms with Indians. And what about economy? From FATF to IMF Indians are controlling it and using it against Pakistan even after Pakistan bends over for them. Did throwing Hafiz Saaed in jail and banning Jamaat Ud Dawah help Pakistan in any way? No. All it did is show weakness for Indians who further exploited this to embarrass Pakistan in the world. Indians using IMF and FATF have ensured Pakistan’s economy always stays in ruins. Even if war happened right now we wouldn’t survive a conventional war for more than a few weeks without gong nuclear.
Pakistan has got to this stage because of bending over for Indians and the west.
Pakistan made fear its policy and surrendered.

As General Hamid Gul said:
"Fear is NO Policy ~ Surrender is NO Option"

Faujeets think shooting down a plane means they have conquered Srinagar LOL

This implies that there is an alternative strategy, of standing straight, or of not being fearful.

The reality is that an economically weak Pakistan has no options. None.

It will get worse.

The thought of stopping a hypothetical deep Indian strike by counter-attacking at a number of points, and refusing to use tactical nuclear devices on Pakistani soil, is a thought for a normal situation, and a normal environment. The situation is not normal. It is skewed, irrevocably, in favour of India.

In real life, India has the industrial capacity to increase ammunition production, armoured vehicle production, missile production and generic ordnance and armaments. This has not been done because a poor nation has far more important economic and industrial objectives than this kind of preparation for an extended war. The fact remains that there is sufficient capacity, in financial terms, and sufficient hunger for new markets and new products in Indian industry for expansion to take place.

The idea of a number of new fronts being opened as a counter by Pakistan is no longer possible. The PA cannot march onto Indian soil; it has to drive there. Those of us who comment on these matters from the safety of the sidelines need to remind ourselves of the ability of the PA to move its armoured formations and its mechanised infantry into the distances needed to penetrate Indian borders. There is not enough fuel, not enough supplies - there is no point in invoking an emotional response by spelling out the brutal realities - to move, and on the other hand, there is the capacity to build several armoured divisions to stop all such efforts comprehensively.

Pakistan's greatest advantage is the sheer stupidity of the Indian political leadership. It is good at raising mobs, organising riots and maltreating its minorities, and nothing more. Its economic policies have failed, its foreign policies have failed, its social policies are marked by the most mediaeval regressive attitude - who in that collection of narrow-minded bigots, intent on proving themselves the intellectual equivalents of their hated predecessors, will sit down and work out what needs to be done over a five year period to fight a war? No one.

There will be no war, as @SoulSpokesman has pointed out with relish, unless the Pakistani leadership does something incredibly stupid.

Unfortunately, that stupidity cannot be ruled out. That possibility cannot be ruled out. And that is where the matter rests, very uneasily.

Who said India cannot win, They have been winning for last 1000 years, their last vijay was in galwan.. They are the Khalid-Bin-Al-Waleed of South Asia.
We are so clever.

Regarding Kashmir, China sitting in the north sector above Leh has become a leverage for Pakistan which wasn’t available in 1999 Kargil war.
The Chinese are mentioned in every single Pakistani post as a force that will always be strong, will grow stronger, and will go into the future with a resolute political leadership, a strong and well-armed military that is motivated and ready for losses in battle, and a citizenry loyal to the leadership in spite of the horrible mistakes that have been made and that have badly hurt the Chinese man in the street in recent years. Above all, a citizenry that can provide the cannon fodder to fight debilitating wars with determined enemies.

Perhaps a hard, clinical review of these suppositions is overdue.

None of the assumptions hold true any longer, going forward. Not one.

We already knew that. Endia can’t do jack that’s why to make it fair we have our generals working overtime to weaken our military.

Imagine your enemy generals are corrupt to the core, sell their country to the highest bidder and still you can’t defeat them.. shows how pathetic Indian military really is.

A relative in the arms said we are unlucky and lucky by being a neighbor to India; unfortunately, it's our sworn enemy, and fortunate that the enemy is often stupid.
If India sorts its internal affairs, it can take Pakistan's head, he knows it, and other's know it as well. So, here, he said, it's just a matter of time.

People are failing to see the Western angle in a conflict will supply India as it did Ukraine to blunt Pakistan's edge and degrade it to such an extent that India can entirely focus on China rather than Pakistan being a constant thorn in its side. In the latest confrontation, the U.S. recently provided intel of Chinese border troops advancing; this is just a hint of what's to come when the gloves come on.

The logistics of Pakistan aren't favorable either; it will not be able to source material for the production of war articles, among other things necessary to carry on a war.

It pains me to say it, but if Pakistan goes down, it's a fate it chooses and will have none to blame but itself.

Current Pakistani military IMO has already understood that war with India is something stupid. This will likely become Pakistani military long standing policy and this point of view will be strenghten by current Global economic pressure that not only has hit Pakistan, but many other countries as well (who are not preparing their economic fundamental strength development seriously)

Any civilian gov wanting to do the opposite will likely get opposition from them as we have seen already.

Pakistan is economically backward because of very same military . if there was no military paksitan was not begging 1bn$ today .paksitani military is curse for this country

India ‘cannot win a war’ against Pakistan, says former Indian officer in latest book
N.C. Asthana writes that India has no clarity about its military and strategic objectives.
India would be better served by finding solutions to the security challenges both Pakistan and China present by strengthening itself internally and pursuing non-military solutions, including diplomacy', Asthana writes in his book.

“While conventional weapons can provide a tactical advantage in limited theatre conflicts short of war, the danger lies in escalation — which is hard to control at the best of times but especially so when the public discourse has been vitiated by the politics of warmongering," he writes.

The same goes for the India vs China case...

War escalation will lead to a nuclear war. No one will be the winner after losing millions of people on both sides..

If there was no military there would be no country in the first place.
that was great news for people of this land . people of this land living here since 8000 years and this country just came 75 years ago . a country is for people not the people are for country . country is a setup for people .

here we have rouge military whom is doing every harm to people on the name of country .

please note people of this land already have lived in 100s of countries historically . just 75 years ago there was another country we live .

How come India didn’t use a nuke when Chinese captured 2000 square KMs of Indian land. 2000 first 20,000 next and 200,000 after that, what is threshold for nukes? I think none as long as Modi can spin it.
