India has been the fastest growing market for solar power particularly after 2009. Farooq Abdullah has actually done a good job in this regard overall

2010 - 25MW
2011 - 468MW
2012 (May) - 978MW

and expected to be around 22000MW by 2020

2012 - 5000 mw China steaming towards 10GW annual PV market: IEA expert - Solar - Renewable energy news - Recharge - wind, solar, biomass, wave/tidal/hydro and geothermal

If you read the press release he linked with his post...there isn't any mention of the fastest growing (maybe he wanted to say one of the fastest)

Where the heck did you get that 50000 MW figure :cheesy:
In December, Beijing raised the 2015 target for solar installations by 50 percent to 15 gigawatts, a level that would make it one of the top solar markets in the world.

Beijing has said it expected to add about 3 gigawatts of solar power per year from 2012, but Zhang said the rush to build new projects there could mean between 5-7 gigawatts will get built this year alone.
JinkoSolar executive says China to hit solar target early

God dammit laman12345 just get lost will you. You are literally ruining every thread you participate in and ruining every section you start a thread in as you are filled with hate and insecurities. China isn't the centre of the universe, there are entire sections on PdF where you can glot and recognise China's greatness but NOT HERE.

I know that ur very weak in English (a language of this forum and u choose to respond) but u should think before opening ur mouth otherwise people will laugh at u.

Now, read the headline again, it says:

"How India is creating the next big solar market"

It doesn't says that India's solar market is the biggest or will be biggest what it says is that India's solar market will be next big market.

I am not here to spoon feed u, so Don't expect spoon feeding every time,
