I weigh 90kgs, 6ft tall, 17 and have an Aesthetic muscular physique. I go to the gym regularly and I have absolutely no excessive fat on me. Also, i'm fast, flexible (unlike your typical huge body builders) and running climbing is no issue for me neither is the physical test. However my bmi indicates that I'm overweight even though I'm not fat. Does the army recruit such candidates and compromise the bmi in this case? Please help, I cant lose weight because well I dont have any thing to burn on me. Can't lose my muscles, worked hard on them.
Thanks!

most probably you have Bone weight
These BMI indicators vary, don't take them seriously

Thanks for the reply.
I'm worried that what if I pass all the medical, physical and all the other tests but the bmi indicates that I'm over weight. Will I be stated as being temporarily unfit?

No, BMI is a generalized measurement, they will do extensive physical tests, if you pass them BMI won't matter

Physical is no issue.
Thank you for your help. This clears up alot for me.

If you have a lot of muscle mass bmi is not accurate as it does not take this into account
