What's new

Happy Independence Day Pakistan, Defence.pk turns 6!

To those who are talking about Na Bijlli Na Gas na Pani.

This is fact that many of us are so selfish, frustrated, passionless, accusing time but don't want to think positively.

Look at following determined, patriotic and rocky people;

They even didn't think that in Pakistan we can find BIJILI, GAS, PANI but they had only one motto to develop nation and country and from those how many people lost their loving relatives. Today when because of their struggle if you found electricity even for 1 hour, Gas in place of wood, Pani through motor not by hand Nalka then your people's status has changed?

We have to thank god what we have and do more struggle to give our next generation better facilities than we have now and don't cry.

The spirit has certainly died. When we were in our 14-15s we use to tease our parents much to get hold onto fireworks and other stuff for the celebrations, but I don't see that spirit in today's kiddos. Or is it that, the celebrations has gone digital i.e Facebook, Twitter, SMS, Email etc.

Anyone remember when a Mushak Airplane use to shower Pakistan's flags on Independence Day?

the spirit I think is the same, lahore is buzzing right now... however, as you have very well pointed out that the way of expressing has changed or gone digital, who sends eid card now a days ?? the new generation will find its own ways to celebrate, we had our own... :)
