Families of Indian hostages seek Burney’s help

I have requested it elsewhere and i'm requesting it here also..

Pakistani members, please do not make it a flame war..

Its a matter of innocent lives, lets just pray those people come home alive..

We can have other issue to rub each other in..

Thanks..

now where are the indians who talk about money every time about trillions of dollar economy ????

The noise making variety of Indians doesn’t really care about other Indians they only care about how they are viewed by the west

to date I have not seen even a single mention in the BBC website about this story which sheds a positive light about Pakistan and its human rights activist.
maybe that’s the reason BBC has missed it.
it is always ever so keen to pick up the bad stories of even remote places but Pakistani effort to free the hostages that included Indian and Sirilanken too has been missed

what can I say
BBC can only find half empty glass when it comes to Sub continent and specially Pakistan
Someone please find me any link to story to prove me wrong but for a week or more I have been looking for the story and something that should have made front news in South Asian section has not even got a mention of 2 lines. instead Karzai’s criticism for cross border firing is given a main story space, wait, yea because it shows Pakistan badly.

True that about BBC. But why do you need BBC, when pakistan got the attention of 1 billion people through its good deeds.

This generous action wont be forgotten that easily. Thank you once more!!

Hey. I am proud what Ansar Abasi did and i guess he did that just for help ppl like him. It does not matter if they are Indians , Sri Lankans etc. There are also alot of ppl in Pakistan these days who realy need help lets hope any one thinks about them also.

About BBC . When shown on BBC more ppl will watch it and know about it which will give some postiv side of Pakistan but thats not what BBC etc want to show its not in there intersset. Its not only BBC i cant find any thing about this in any norwegain newspapir either

I dont care about BBC at all my dear
just saying they only find trash about us (by us I mean the people of this sub continent). They are so disdainful that if there will be a news about arresting some Pak origin British Muslims after ISI tip off, they will conveniently by pass that part of report and just say that few British youth are arrested after their return from Pakistan, even tough it’s the Pakistani intelligence that has given them the initial lead. (well that’s a separate story altogether).

you saying thanks should also be appreciated and we are grateful too that despite all the recent tragedies we are bold enough to appreciate some good deeds.

I wish we have more of Ansar Barni and Abdus Satar Edhi.

I request to other Pakistani members here to stop "demanding" gratitude from the Indian members here. it is not polite and would only sour the taste of a time of happiness.

reason to mention BBC is their age old animosity . they introduced democracy in British India yet, they are still struggling to accept a country that was founded on the same bases they so much cherish. even Hard core Indian political parties are beginning to accept Pakistan and people of India and Pakistan are coming closer despite the terrorism but some in Britain still feel pissed off that Jinnah managed to form a country without raising an army and invading like they have done for centuries and continue to do so till date.

I had been eagerly waiting for the safe arrival of the captives and was dreading the possibility of recapture by the pirates but when the news came of the naval escort and safe arrival it was celebration time. Indeed it will only help the current and future talks among the two countries.

Not only is BBC not shown anything about this incident, but outlets like CNN, Fox, MSNBC, etc haven't shown it either.

If this was a story about some murder or rape that happened in Pakistan, then it would be all over the world news
