Export bids for JF-17 Thunder Multirole Lightweight Fighter Aircraft

ACM zaheer seems to be a weak CAS, He does not have a red wing rather than a blue wing that means that he hasnt even crossed 10K hours of flying?

Regarding Chinese Aircraft; those that were orginally Russian Designed are likely just glorified Junk. However their Newer Indigenous designed as well as those western inspired aircrafts are quite good and likely exceeed their counterparts due to not having the production shortfalls that western weapons tend to have.

Hi,

An aircraft is just a Conduit of technology installed on it.

While India's HAL tried its best to persuade Argentinians for LCA Tejas, the JF-17C remains ahead in the race. The main competitor F-16 also seems a lost opportunity as all the used ones will be diverted to Ukraine.

Argentina is bankrupt. So they will always go for the cheapest solution.
They have been eyeing second-hand machines for years and were not able to procure them.
Partly because of British parts like Martin-Baker ejection seats or other parts that are being barred by the UK (that still thinks they can behave like a colonial power, which is costing their taxpayers billions each year, but that is another discussion ;-))
Mostly because they do not have the funds to sustain them.
So, now Argentina has put all their money in keeping 5/6 A-4 Fighting Hawks operational and procuring a couple of Pampa jet trainers each year to keep the FAdeA factory running.
Any option/offer including a form of local work, e.g. assembly, will be well-received. Bottom line is that they will pay by beef rather than dollars and that their credit line probably won't hold for the duration of the procurement ;-)

Fake news, Iraq want Rafales not JF-17s

Fake news, Iraq prime minster announced several times that Iraq is seeking to buy 14 rafales from France, and the flag in the picture belong to Egypt not Iraq.

Separate deals

Western fighters have massive strings attached, look at Egypts F16s, no BVR and no ability to take on Israeli aircraft

Iraq may want Rafales as a spear tip but if reports are true its hedging its bets on the JF17 block 3 as a BVR capable fighter with AESA and a growing list of no strings weapons that it can use without western countries snapping their fingers
