Enough Scandalizing Pakistan Army!!

Politicians are kartay dhartay of Establishment. With the exception of extremely few people in politics every one is created, supported and promoted by Establishment. Pakistan has been independent for 71 years, 36 years has been spent under direct control and other 30 years it was indirectly controlled by putting stooges. Establishment plundered the country them selves and let the politicians plunder as well. So they have been hand in gloves. The last real leader we had was Liaquat Ali Khan and the first Coup attempt was in 1951. Are you gona say Liaquat Ali khan was not patriotic enough that's why coup attempt happened ? Liaquat Ali khan k baad every Politician was created, supported and put on by Establishment. Establishment k gonahon ko Army so na dhooayn. Pakistan mn bohat ziada loog hn jo abi b Pakistan ka jo khawab dekha tha usay pora karna chahtay hn and Establishment is in the way of that. Hopefully hum khawab poray dekh lain apni zindgi mn.

these kind of discussions are like a dog chasing his tail.

So you basically don't have anything to claim my statement is wrong?

The threats army face have nothing to do with army's involvement in politics and nobody's denying that.

PAF defended Pakistan in February and they faced the enemy yet the Hero who shot down was unknown and Tamgha e Imtiaz was given to an unknown model. Air Marshall didn't come on TV and reiterate we will do this n that. No, he is doing his job patriotically without wanting praise.

And do you know that army weakens when it interferes politically, do you? Iraq was under the military dictatorship for years but it succumbed like poof when attacked once. Why is that? Because Iraqi army was lost in luxuries and wasn't held accountable by its public so they could do whatever.

Pakistan army will stay strong as long as it's kept in check. The money going into it is audited.

This is the principle of Islam too
Pakistan army is enjoying luxuries as well as they blew the Indians out of air in Feb , PTM's gone , TTP's gone , I guess you need to calm down . It's not the army but the establishment that plays politics and in every country establishment does it . Did it weak , US or UK ? .

Currently, there is hardly any political party, which has the character, strength and capability to ensure civilian supremacy and true constitutional rule in Pakistan. Therefore, interference of PA in the civilian domain would remain a reality, for quite some time to come.

Stop worshipping the Army. No one is against the Army as an institution, or the soldiers who serve in it for the sake of the country.

All of us are proud of our martyrs, and in forever love with the common soldiers who put their life on line.

But what some of us don't appreciate is when elements guide and use the institution for purposes the institution shouldn't be used i.e. political manufacturing.

Is that a concept so hard to understand? Just because our Army as an institution is indeed selfless, and our people have rendered countless sacrifices for the country in it, doesn't mean the Army should have no accountability, or questioning.

bravo for breaking the status quo-------

most pakistani dont buy your truth....because of 70 yrs lies fed to us......

politcians dont controll a shit in pakistan--------all were puppets-------------and IMRAN NZI IS NO- EXCEPTION-

but the army as an institution fully backed their coas -- Mr Ayyub who labeled Fatima Jinnah a traitor, you tell us WHy? --- Yahya, a drunkard & womanizer --- Musharraf with his Pakistan first slogan ( thrown at him by his master America) trying to change the social fabric of Pakistan.

Where Pakistan stands today, our politicians and army generals (establishment) are equally responsible.
Pakistan wouldnt have been so open as it is right now if it werent for Musharraf's efforts to try to reverse what Zia had done.call it good or bad, he was the balancing effect after zia..and thats how the west looks at it also

Retired military personnel should step up and partake in politics more. Generally, the most competent people in society have always been the ones in the military. And keeping in mind Pakistan’s regional realities it wouldn’t hurt to have people that understand the strategic importance and implications of the country’s geography.

The Army was just as responsible for the '71 blunder as was Bhutto.

And lets not forget the whole 80s, Kalashnikov culture, refugees, war, Islamization at extreme, and a promise of fresh elections every 3 months for years.

The ISI engaged in illegal narcotics trade, politically manufactured the 1990 elections in favor of the right wing Islamic party led by Nawaz Sharif, and also had planned to completely raze down Kabul right after the war ended to force a favorable leader in Afghanistan.

Not saints, every institution should be accountable and there should be transparency. And once again, this is not hate against the institution or the mostly selfless people who serve in it, there are bad elements in positions of power sometimes, we simply question where they're guiding their institution to.
And who bring army to this position, if our politicians were/is/will sincere/loyal to Pakistan, then army never ever able to take charge of govts, after Liquat ali Khan, Politicians always bring chaos/corruption etc etc to the country, read the history of Pakistan bro

Our identity is Pakistan. Don't divide this society as Army vs civilians. Army is one state institution, recruiting people from same civil society from middle class & lower middle class. After retirement Army people join same civil society. There are same laws for everyone. We are Pakistani & Pakistan Army is our Army. 1 % courrpt political families Zardari , Shariefs & allies are threat for existence of Pakistan.
