Starting from Ganga Dhaba, the march ended at Chandrabhaga hostel where convener of Egypt Solidarity Forum Omair Anas addressing the marchers. He said that the revolution is just on the half way and Hosni Mubarak cannot face people’s stiff resistance to his oppressive tactics. He said that this solidarty march is historical in the sense that “we don’t want Egyptian people to feel isolated; rather they should know that they are not alone.” Hosni Mubarak regime has been oppressing its own people and using worst oppressive tactics to crush civil society’s every effort, he added.

Prof. Ramakrishna of JNU said that this revolution has grown out of longtime unanswered grievances and increased gap between delivery and promises. He also emphasized that the revolution will engulf other countries. SFI’s Anand, AISA’s Vismay and DSU’s Anirban also spoke and expressed their full solidarity with the people of Egypt.

“We believe that Egyptian people are victims of their own rulers as well as their western masters. Recent Tunisian revolution has brought pains and ironies of Tunisian people to the world’s knowledge which has been hidden by Ben Ali as part of Tunisia Shining project. In Egypt also, Hosni Mubarak has protected interests of capitalists, multinationals and his Western masters mainly the United States. Egyptian people are still deprived from development, employment and dignity of being citizen of a respected nation and living in inhuman conditions. Laborer’s movements, judge’s struggle, students’ struggle and opposition parties have all been repeatedly crushed,” said the Forum in a release.

i wonder does all the stupid freaks exist only in JNU.

army buys defence equipment, JNU students protests,
CRPF kill maoists, JNU students protests,
Army kill terrosrists in Kashmir, JNU students protests.

seriously, these students are as nuts as the person upon whose name this university is named.

p.s. when i read the heading of this news posted by Ejaz, i knew these students can only be JNU students.

Its not a protest, its a solidarity march peacefully without calling bands and causing inconvenience to people which some political parties in India are famous for which is really stupid

I don't understand why you are being so antsy or calling it stupid? They want to express their support for democracy in Egypt.

I don't agree with their leftist thought but I think GoI should atleast come out with some support to the side of true democratic reforms in Egypt.

offtopic:
Ok I'm all for democratic reforms in Egypt, but have least respect for JNU
That Uni is full of commies/closet commies (just look at it's alumni !)

Jawaharlal Nehru University - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Prakash Karat, General Secretary, Communist Party of India (Marxist)
Ashok Tanwar, President [Member of Prliament Lok Sabha]
Sitaram Yechury, Member, Polit Bureau, Communist Party of India (Marxist)

[edit] Union Minister of State and state level Cabinet Minister

Thomas Issac, Finance Minister of Kerala
Digvijay Singh (Bihar), former Union Minister of State for Foreign Affairs

And remember Indian commies are of a different kind, unlike their Russian/Chinese cousins these guys are rich and suave, they are the least bit interested in welfare.

actually my post was completely off topic.
i have nothing against showing solidarity with Egyptian civilians.

but i was just pricked by the fact that these JNU guys have nothing better to do in their life that they come onto streets every other week.

i agree,all doped kids there

when mubarak gone..what will happen to egypt ?
will it become secular state or islamic state ?

Muslim brotherhood is major opposition party(though banned) in Egypt and enjoys widespread support..but worrying factor is top echelons of Al-Qaida have hailed from this same organisation..in fact is one of the reasons why west supports Mubarak..he has kept Islamist forces in Egypt in check.

haha.. and these kids in the pic looks as if they have been repeatedly failing year after year waiting to become graduates.

old kids would be the right word.

We have our own problems....So no need to interfere...
Just remember the history of India in 18th century and be quiet....
Let them solve their problem....
History is repeating but its reverse....
Sit Back and Watch the show...

Well, these @$$holes have no other work to do...

Their professors should give them a hour of lecture about history of India in 18th century...

I agree. It seems Egypt is going through the same path like what Iran went through in 1979.
