Indian wrestler Rajendra beats Pakistans Azhar Hussain

The medals are being decided thick and fast now. In the 55kg men's greco-roman wrestling, India's Rajender Kumar beat Pakistan's Azhar Hussain to take the gold and there's wild celebrations in the stands

India wins first ever CWG medal (Bronze) in swimming

Delhi: Prasanta Karmakar, 29 year old Indian swimmer, wins first medal for India in swimming in the CWG Delhi 2010. He won Bronze in the 50 m Mens Freestyle. His timing was 27.48.

Sania Mirza enters tennis quarterfinals



NEW DELHI: India's ace tennis star Sania Mirza entered the women's singles quarterfinals at the Commonwealth Games on Wednesday with a comfortable 6-0, 6-2 win over Brittany Teei from the Cook Islands.

Earlier on Wednesday, Indian tennis star Somdev Devvarman entered the men's singles quarterfinals with a thumping 6-0 6-1 win over unseeded Sri Lankan Amresh Jayawickreme.

Somdev will next clash with the winner of the match between Scotland's Colin Fleming and Rubin Statham of New Zealand.

Indian tennis star Rohan Bopanna is also scheduled to play their singles second round matches on Wednesday.
