Could JF-17 benefit from a photo-recon pod?

Brothers, Turkish industry developed photo-recon pod called AselPod and It is ready for export markets at present.

TACSAR sar pod and EW Pods are under development phase. TACSAR is planned to be revealed in 2017-18.

AselPod is mainly a targeting pod, and recce is secondary function with a datalink, in lines with Lightning II concept.

Can be integrated on JFT?
Seems better option than WMD7........

Yes, Aselpod can be integrated in JF17, and is a likely candidate. WMD7 and other Chinese clones may not meet the mark, and Thales may just not be considered for various reasons. The main issue is airborne qualification, not integration. If these matters are addressed, we may see this Turkish development, primarily for F4 and F16 in TAF, to be in Block II and Block III of JFT.
