Corp of EME

Assalamalaikum. I lately completed my Bachelors (Hons)in Mechanical Engineering and applying for the 38th Graduate Course to join Corp of EME. I searched the internet to find out what work Corp of EME does but information available was very little. So, can anybody tell me what work Corp of EME do.
