The current political tumoil in Karachi is very evidently a conspiracy against democracy, attested to some anti social elements who want nothing more than to disturb the peace of Karachi. Everybody knows that Karachi is the heart of Pakistan, and disturbing peace in Karachi means distubing peace in Pakistan.
Now, a question arises - who are the people behind the political turmoil and the target killing in Karachi ? I won’t go round and round and will directly pin point culprits - Imran khan, Jamat e Islami and Zulkfiqar Mirza, Home Minister of Sindh.

Another question arises - how are they doing all this?

A close analysis of the situation will reveal that before the 28 December, 2009 attack on the Ashora procession, conditions in Karachi were very peaceful. Or so would it seem, considering that there was some thing bigger going on in the back ground to disturb the peace of Karachi.

Imran Khan, chief of Tehrek-e-Insaf, was busy in meetings with Haqiqi Terrorists, and as there are two fictions in Haqiqi Terrorist outfit, Imran Khan was trying to regroup and re-organize them. The parties held several meetings with Imran Khan in Lahore and Islamabad, something, confirmed by both Haqiqi and Imran Khan, with this piece of news being published in The News last year, stating, “Imran mediating between Haqiqi factions to face and confront Muthaida Qaumi Movement in Karachi”.

But you all know Imran Khan better as the facilitator of Taliban in Pakistan, along with Jamat e Islami. Last year itself, Imran Khan admitted on several TV Talk shows that he had links and relations with Taliban and AL-Qaeda, and in response, the Talibanis gave a press release was given by Taliban trust Imran and seek him as a good and pro Taliban leader in Pakistan.
And this is Khan’s strategy – seek the help of Taliban and the Haqiqi to crush MQM in Karachi. Crushing MQM in Karachi means crushing the people of Karachi. Khan made sure that Haqiqi and Taliban will assisted him with arms and Militant support. We all are aware of the increased flow of Taliban in Karachi, and since then, we have seen an horrific increase in target killing incidents. Almost 200 people (mostly belonging to MQM) fell vicitims to such henious acts in 2009 itself.

Jamat e Islami is equally and actively as much involved as Khan is in such acts. The Jamat E Islami has till date not condemned a single suicide attack, most of the attacks being in a public places or the Army head quarters of GHQ. The masterminds behind 9/11 WTC attack were arrested from the house of Jamat e Islami’s UC counsellor, located in Karachi. Plus, the Jamat e Islami had strong links with Naik Mohammad, a well known militant from South Waziristan, and they even protested for Mohammad’s death in 2004 when he was killed in a US drone attack.

Coming back to the point, I must like to put light on a usual propaganda of Jamat e Islami which is adopted by Imran Khan, labelled as the Ethnic Violence. When ever any innocent was killed, Khan and the Jamat e Islami tried shift the blame to Ethnic Violence. Khan, who does not even have a single sympathizer in Karachi, always appeared on TV channels, or held press conferences, claiming target killing the as Ethnic killing of Pukhtoons or Muhajirs, with similar statements being issued from the Jamat e Islami.

These people are targeting the workers and supporters of MQM and then they target the workers of PPP or some one else belonging to the Balouch ethnic group, and then they leave it to the media to make it seem like ethnic killing or violence by a political party, thus getting their purpose solved of deviating the media from thbe issue of drug mafia or land mafia or the presence of Radical Taliban or AL Qaida, Lashkar e Jhangvi or SSP.

Incidents of target killing in Karachi always rise in numbers when ever we see MQM raising its voice against the presence of Taliban and its helping forces in Karachi. And very conveniently, target killing was given the face of ethnic violence and all of a sudden faces of guns turns towards MQM and this propaganda was given so much height of hype that the voice of anti Taliban and anti militants from MQM became lost.

28 December 2009’s incident and its after effect give us the picture of a different story. A blast took place during Ashora Procession when it was passing through the Light House Market, the famous market of Pukhton ethnic group. Soon after the blast, half of the Light House market was burnt belonging to Pukhtoons and then after two hours Bolton market main financial hub of city was first looted and then burnet down in the complete presence of Police and Rangers.

CCTV footages were made public on right time when guns from PPP, Jamat e Islami and pro Taliban forces was turning towards CDGK and MQM and footages shows us that looting and burning was done prominent workers of PPP latter assisted by Gangs of Liyari and Pro Taliban Jamat e Islami. All guns were towards PPP that why bandits and gangs were allowed to do looting and burning in the presence of police and why police or rangers never took any action as shown in CCTV footages then another factor was the acceptance of Taliban and owning the responsibility of the blast in Karachi in 28 December 2009 which was a total security failure and failure of home minister Zulfiqar Mirza from PPP when MQM founder and Leader Altaf Hussain shows his concern about Talibanisation in Karachi and provided proofs Zulfiqar Mirza delibratly ignored the presence of Talibanization and said that “THERE IS DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ISLAMIZATION AND TALIBANIZATION” besides this many times Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza denyed any presence of Talibanization and linked MQM’s concerns of Talibanzation with ethnic differences. Blast of 28 December proves it all and no doubt left about the presence of Taliban in heart of South Asia. Then after few days with the help of CCTV footages looted goods were recovered from Liyari and some people were also arrested with the help of CCTV footages from Liyari.

All eyes were towards PPP as Liyari is a fort of PPP and footages shows people with caps and badges of PPP doing looting and then goods recovered from Liyari and people getting arrested from Liyari all these things are pointing towards involvement of PPP in looting and burning all of a sudden gang war broke out between the gangs of Liyari and 43 MQM’s workers and Supporters were killed in target killing and 6 people belonging to Lyari and all of a sudden a wave of ethnic violence was raised from no where and it was given the face of Balouch Muhajir Violence and pointing guns towards MQM so that the fact that PPP is involved in violence in Karachi can be folded and trying to cover it with ethnic card.
This what exactly happening in Karachi and this is how Militants of Taliban and other small factions of AL QAIDA like Lashkar e jhangvi , SSP and SSM can flourish in Karachi and can successfully use Karachi as a launch pad of its terrorist activities in South Asia and all over the world

MQM had the grip over Karachi, because of it's cadre. Now this grip is being challanged by other groups, taliban included, who also have good foot soldiers.I hope this fight for dominance doesn't harm the otherwise peaceful population of Karachi.

Seems that all anti MQM forces are united to counter MQM in City Goverment Elections which means MQM will be facing a tough time in elections and the series of target killing is a starter for the elections beacuse of the taget killing in karachi they are trying non-urdu speaking people of karachi to go against MQM in Karachi beacuse they all are frightened that in this election MQM can make a clean sweep.

Agree that Pakistan Peoples Party want complete Hold in Karachi thats why they killed Pathan's Urdu Speakings and other innocent peoples, they want to launch there LOCAL GOVERNMENT through weapons. They don't want to see authorities in Poor People or i can sy middle class. People's Party specially Home Minister Zulfiqar Mirza is responsible for all act happend in karachi these days.

No comment I think the police setup and patroling should be bullet proof Pakistan (Karachi) needs few helicopters to help catch baddies like they do in Los Angeles

And better polce infrastructure , new generation of police force trained like SWAT team -

Obviously also higher salaries - to solve the local unrest efficiently

No political party ever gets involved with target killings these are always part of outside forces to bring in destabalization in gov and weaken the spirit of nation. So if war arises support is minimal from local population.

MQM fears it will lose coming local bodies elections, thats why they have stepped up target killings of other parties workers in karachi.

Its quite possible that Talibans can't hit major military zones so their thugs are targeting local cities
