Last December, the Navy floated a $2.6 billion domestic tender for the construction of four LPDs with bids sent only to domestic shipyards L&T, Pipavav, and ABG as we noted earlier. The proposal is to build two LPDs at the selected private-sector yard and another two at the state-owned Hindustan Shipyard.

@post 5- one image shows Russian flag

Is that mistarl which was ordered by Russia and which is under construction (though France has said they will not deliver it)?

It was not just for Indian, wanted to know your views, anyways you are under the umbrella of India, I hope This ship not not block Chittagong Port.
Please park it there, your ship will get stuck in our chaar in the sea and thus give us more metal for our ship building Industry.

Anyway, if I am not mistaken then this is the same ship that was offered to Russia but Indian Navy wants it to be heavily modified.
