The casualties your article was referring to were from Kargil war, which happened in 1999 and report was submitted by indian ministry of defence to Indian parliament.

By the way, have you read the full article posted by you? The 2bd paragraph says "Ironically, most of the details which Information Commissioner M L Sharma allowed the army to withhold are already in public domain through the official web site of the Press Information Bureau, a Government of India department."

It quickly exposes your hypocrisy

Most but not all. The accurate figure is withheld because it will affect your nations morale. That is what is missing.

Try again pajeet.

Pakistani Tactical Nuclear weapons are like you get into a fight with an with an opponent who has a sledgehammer in his hand and you start the fight by hitting him with a tinny stick. After that, Pakistan will hope that the opponent play fair and find a tinny stick to hit back. But the opponent has nothing but a big sledge hammer to retaliate ...
Oh sure - like Pakistan doesn’t have its own sledge hammers to throw at you guys.
typical delusional Indian - forgetting that it was his own nation than ran to its sledgehammers after throwing a stick and expecting nothing from Pakistanis.

Exactly.. why would you start with a stick when you have a sledgehammer?

Even if in a parallel universe, if India decides not to retaliate to a tactical nuclear attack, Pakistani will face an international hammering on economy, politics and can kiss a good bye to Kashmir issue.. That only if India decides not to retaliate..

By the way, are there Pakistanis who think that India will not retaliate to a nuclear attack?? Would love to meet those guys some day understand their Psyche
1. Kashmir is a lost cause but politically it will always be kept alive. Also sometimes here and there Pakistan will always try to take it, just like AJK and GB the point here is you dont have the balls to devise a plan to take you claimed territory but we are "jangjoo" enough to try to take it but thats another issue.
2. Interpreting a tactical nuclear weapon with a stick is very very dumb. Its not a stick but a hammer. The whole point of creating a tactical nuclear weapon was to have a nuclear capable missile without exceeding the nuclear threshold of full blown nuclear war with agni and shaheens flying and striking across. A tactical weapon will do very small damage but enough to deter India army so in my opinion the Pakistani establishment thinks that a nasr strike will not risk an agni flying across. Also a nasr strike wont be in mainland india for obvious reasons but only on border to contain the IA.

2. How did it changed from 1 compound to 4 compound care to explain?

There were 5 targets/buildings to be hit with 5 spice2000 kits... one kit malfunctioned so only 4 were launched ...
Terrorist camp at balakote KPK pakistan had multiple buildings 5 were identified where terrorists were sleeping ..

Operation Brasstacks in 1987 was actually a Cold Start exercise.
India's main focus was from Rajasthan ( Jodhpur ) to strike deep in the Bahawalpur sector and cut off Multan, Khanewal, Sahiwal from Lahore and Karachi and hold the positions , grinding down Pakistan's resistance through attrition. A simultaneous blockade of Karachi was also envisioned with a massive deployment of all IAF assets to gound the PAF and possibly neutralize it. The aim was to topple the government in Pakistan and force Pakistan to accede AJK before Indian forces withdrew.
Ravi Rikhye documented this in his book "The war that never was."

And General Zia shattered all dreams of India by his credible Nuclear threat.
Cold Start is responsive rather than proactive. As long as Pakistan behave, we are all fine

What a joke. CSD was always aggressive plan not defensive.

I actually don't even believe that your spice hit the compound otherwise it would be destroyed but I'd like to give you a chance to prove yourself with facts and pictures. I'll wait till you post some facts or even pictures about the alleged terrorist camp IAF hit. Go on.

I haven’t even gone into miles of fortifications, artificial barriers, natural barriers etc.

yeah, Praveen Sawhney even commented its mind boggling how much defensive setups Pakistan has invested in Sindh for example. that will take a long time to defeat, which buys Pakistan time to bring in reinforcements if India invades deep enough.

Funny thing is the Indian narrative on Lahore.
" India almost captured Lahore in 1965 ... but we let go because we have a good heart "

Questions:

Why didn't India capture Lahore in 1971 ?

Why didn't India capture Lahore in 1987 ?

Why didn't India capture Lahore in 1999 ?

Why didn't India capture Lahore in 2002 ?

Why didn't India capture Lahore in 2019 ?

Lahore is 24 km from the Indian border.

Pakistan has more warheads then India according to almost every reliable western source. Granted you are a bigger country, but end of Pakistan will, by default, cause the end of India

both will get destroyed...and nuclear fall out will destroy a large chunk of asia

Indians reportedly have been wanting to drink tea at Gymkhana Lahore, just like Abhinandan.
