Part of Mekong River flowing through territory of Vietnam is very short, all plain. It is also very far from dangerous "Golden Triangle" area. We have enough forces to control it. We say no to foreign forces.
More, I'm sure that people of my country never allow China's forces to control freely the river on our territory.

I think that China had given its military forces to patrol on the Mekong River is unreasonable, it may be counterproductive. It may be caused more opposition by outlawed criminal groups in the Golden Triangle area. It would be better if they provide financial and training to countries in the Golden Triangle region so their forces to do it.
