The issue is US is Paying Pakistan for the role in NWA and if Pakistan uses equipment of China then they stop paying. Hence Pakistan wants more US manufactured Helicopters and Aircraft. Still some operations are done with other assets.

The wiki say 20 on order and not 20 in service.

An order would mean Pakistan has decided to buy them, and there is no indication yet of that. Also, I was referring to the guy's claim that Pakistan already has a large amount of Z-10s in secret.

Have the 3 z-10s in Pakistan being used. I haven't seen any video or even pic of them being used. Or are they still being assembled?

There were a few pics a while back showing at least one in flight. I'd wager a guess that they're being tested in a controlled environment, and may eventually see real world testing against the TTP.

That is true US technology is far advance and simple to operate then others. Pakistan has historically used it and have lots of experience.

One also knows the importance of Pakistan in respect of WOT. Now when the Afghan's are still building their armed forces and US pulling out its solders and equipment Pakistan's importance has become much more then it was considered previously. Now Pakistan has to get US or EDA articles of NATO still those have to be paid some how. The US has to pay Pakistan for the services that it is providing or has provided. This can be on cash or in kind.

If this is the case then in some short time we can see the actual Z-10's deal and others too. The only reason to not disclose could have been made so that Pakistan could have enough knowledge of the platform and also if US would approve the Zulu's.

Pakistan is only receiving 15 newer version of Cobras with which we can't defend entire country or we don;t have luxury to use them for only counter trrorism. We also require relatively cheaper but effective replacements of old cobras currently in use by PAA, So simply someone like or not there are vital chances that Pak will get Z10s in sufficient numbers in near future. Perhaps Mi 35s will also come though in small numbers most likely to be used by SSG.
Now China has shown much progress in the fields of research and technology. Developing new attack hellos, 5th Gen Fighters and stealthy Naval ships are not just flukes.

Firstly don't insult Vipers by saying that they are just advance form of Cobras.
Second we will replace entire fleet of Cobras with Vipers and Thunderbolts. Vipers are meant for operations at high altitudes while Thunderbolts will be for plains of Punjab and Sindh. So we will go for 2platforms instead of one In order to create diversity. And yes Z10 is only chopper which we can induct in large numbers and in short time. Tai Atak and Havoc lack this feature.......

Vipers are upgraded/ developed version of Cobras this is a fact meanwhile no one can deny the superiority of American Tech. However they shall not be available to Pak due to Indian factor and high costs. Meanwhile technological gap between Chinese and American Tech is narrowing. So we should not blindly respect American tech as even naive country like North Korea can challenge USA by it's ICBMS.

Meanwhile USA in case of Indo Pak scenario may help India in jamming aerial resources of Pak so in order to counter such threats Pak should diversify its areial assets. By the way I once heard from a pro that during Kargil war India was facilitated by USA as surveillance satellite Pics of Pak armed forces bunkers were provided by USA to India which ultimately helped Indian Air Force to perform pinpoint aerial attacks by laser guided bombs causing great casualties.
So we should not put all eggs in same basket.

Recently Russia fix a huge issue in Z10 , which was engine bay. Before Z10 bay can have only specific type of engine , but now Russia has fixed the problem through Universal Engine Bay, where Chinese can now test different types of engine.
