Featured “China does not recognize the so-called UT of Ladakh illegally established by India”: Chinese Foreign Ministry

No, China will not invade Ladakh. China has no territorial claim over Ladakh and does not consider it part of 'Western Tibet'.
China's position is that Ladakh is disputed territory, and as other parts of Kashmir, its fate should be decided according to the 1947 UN Resolution. However, China does claim Aksai Chin and rejects the Indian claim that Aksai Chin is part of Ladakh, therefore part of the disputed territory of Jammu and Kashmir, as the British Raj/India has never controlled Aksai Chin.
Unless India fires the first shot, China will not invade Ladakh. And even in the case of a Sino-Indian war, China will not permanently occupy Ladakh whatsoever.
Our international reputation as well as long term strategic interest is much more important than Ladakh.

Will China take South Tibet?

as the British Raj/India has never controlled Aksai Chin.

What, and the Chinese did? In principle, Aksai Chin should be returned to India and Shaksgam should be returned to Pakistan. Stop grabbing other people's territory

Yes, China has controlled Aksai Chin since the 18th century.

South Tibet is on the other side of the Himalayas. Too costly to integrate into the national economy and too costly to defend. So no, China is not taking it.

What is the point of laying claim to it then? Both the PRC and ROC claim it as their own.

And when will India return Arunachal Pradesh to China as Tibet is recognized by India as a province of China? If we are playing the game of who should return what, China has an infinitely stronger claim to Aksai Chin (as India only controlled part of it) versus India's claim to Arunachal Pradesh/South Tibet.

Well Tibet deserves to be an independent country. Because of China's bullying and realpolitik the international community doesn't recognize Tibet's independence.

If I remember it right, Qing Dynasty didn't claim Ladakh as in China's territory when negotiating with British Empire.

Ladakh is a part of Kashmir and Kashmir being an integral part of Pakistan so Pakistan obviously loves to claim it as its area. Now in the case of the Chinese occupation of this area, Pakistan and China will like to settle it mutually for the best interests of its people. It may part of Pakistan. so that we have a direct border with our friend Nepal.

The Chinese have always considered Ladakh as part of western Tibet. They have never recognised the Indian rule.

What will Pakistani position be if China takes it?

China has taken a lot of Indian land since the 60's and India has not been able to get any of it back.

What will the US position be if China indeed takes Ladakh?
India will moan and US will laugh if China takes Ladakh. As India really doesn't own Ladakh if has a half hearted attachment to it so the reaction will be diluted if it does lose Ladakh with a historic statement of "whatever".

The entire aksai chin area was under Tibetan rule until Dogra invasion in 1840s. Hence Indian rule over this area is disputed. But I also don’t consider Chinese ownership as china’s invasion of Tibet is questionable...!

Except that the Dogra invasion was defeated.

No ...! They manage to take Leh aksai chin and had reached Mansarovar and Kailash mountain.
They could not advance further due to defeat, but the above areas mostly were conquered.
If you look at these area then you will find Tibetan influence more than Indian.

Do you know that Aksai Chin was and still is (save for the soldiers) an uninhabited area?
