BREAKING: 7000 US troops Ordered to Withdraw from Afghanistan, Blackwater is coming.

Blackwater can fight [unrestrained]; go to excessive lengths to intimidate/harm/kill opposing elements and/or ruin property in the process. This is American version of ISIS. And if its agenda is to set the entire region ablaze then wouldn't Pakistan bear the consequences once again? We have CPEC to worry about.

Some posters do not think before typing.

Blackwater's deployment in Afghanistan should be strongly opposed by Pakistan, period.

Mate, u must be a whimp to think the U s army abides by any rules in warfare. Blackwater will feel the full brunt of what is coming. The guys behind the Taliban( u knw who), the actuall string pullers were reluctant to attack US Army too much. Blackwater will get no such quater. We will own Afghanistan after the US army leaves.
@jhungary will enlighten you in regards to engagement principles of American armed forces.

For the remainder, read my response above.

And keep in mind that NATO will retain its presence in Afghanistan for a while; 7000 - 8000 troops in total. Blackwater is more like an extension of its offensive capability and reach across Afghanistan, but with much less accountability.

Afghan Taliban had it easy since Obama administration changed the rules of engagement in its case back in 2014 in pursuit for a political resolution of the conflict. With Blackwater in the picture, US can subject Afghan Taliban to a great degree of pressure for potential concessions.

Good news.

Blackwater will show Taliban what a real war looks like. They will not abide by Rules of Engagement. Just 600 Blackwater decimated Al Shabbab in Somalia.

Just in the other thread some kids were giving me negative rating while the news is already out.

Some people come to defence forum just because they are bored. They have no interest in learning from senior members here.

black water and other mercenaries have been in afghanistan from day one only numbers will increase, their performance in Iraq and Yemen shows they are useless. But I guess pinning hopes on these mofo's is next best thing!

They achieved their objectives there. If they were asked to 'stay and monitor' they will stay and monitor. If their orders are to 'slaughter everyone' they will do it without mercy. Remember what they did to Al Shabbab. And they were not more than a few 100.

Exactly.

Since US cannot deal with sickos using their normal Army, enter the PMC.

No rules, no conscience and definitely no restraint as you pointed out.

What ISIS are you talking about? ISIS wants to establish your religion by force. Blackwater only cares about money and finishing their contract.

They will in no way be interested in attacking Pakistan.

Not unless your generals try to use Taliban tactic against them.

With the ANA having taken massive losses and in many areas ceased to actually be a fighting force. The Taliban now controlling half the country, with major inroads in the 'government half', this will only result in the Afghan government eventually falling, not in the military sense but being forced into a peaceful settlement which will see the Taliban return to power.
7,000 troops, you may as well not bother. There's a reason why General Mattis said goodbye on this announcement.
It does however leave Pakistan in a strong position and the US will lean more on Pakistani support to reach an amicable ending for the conflict.

As for the Afghan government, how painfully embracing events have been today....

Afghan government puts brave face on U.S. withdrawal, but experts are alarmed

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan — Just a day ago, Afghan officials were concerned that U.S. officials would make a too-hasty agreement with Taliban insurgents and potentially undermine the country’s security and democratic gains.

But by Friday morning, the government of President Ashraf Ghani was reeling from a much more concrete development: the news that President Trump had abruptly announced a plan to withdraw half of the 14,000 U.S. troops stationed in Afghanistan. That sent Ghani’s aides scrambling to fashion a face-saving response.

The initial official response appeared to be an attempt to portray this massive reversal of U.S. policy after 17 years of war as no big deal — even as most political observers showed escalating levels of alarm.

Shortly after noon, Harun Chakhansuri, a top spokesman for Ghani, told Afghan TV that such a drawdown would have no major impact on Afghanistan’s ability to defend itself. He said most of the U.S. forces likely to be withdrawn “are engaged in a training and advising mission for Afghan forces, and Afghan forces are capable of defending the country.”

Several hours later, Fazl Fazili, another aide to Ghani, echoed that assessment, tweeting that the departure of a “few thousand” foreign military advisers would not affect Afghan security. In a second tweet, he said that since 2014, when most U.S. combat forces left the country, those who predicted a military collapse were proven wrong, and “our brave defense & security forces . . . defended the nation with great valor.”

The optimistic comments contrasted sharply with the alarmed reactions and dire predictions Friday of analysts, former officials and political figures in Afghanistan and neighboring Pakistan.

In both countries, a variety of observers said they feared that a sudden unilateral pullback of U.S. troops could usher in a period of political instability, give the Taliban insurgents extra power at the negotiating table or sabotage the peace talks entirely, and leave Afghanistan more vulnerable to violence and terrorist attacks.

Many drew comparisons to the U.S. withdrawal of support from Afghanistan in 1989 after the end of Soviet military occupation, which led to a government collapse in Kabul, a destructive civil war among ethnic militias and a huge exodus of refugees.

“A U.S. military drawdown will strengthen the Taliban’s position in the peace negotiations and precipitate political chaos in Kabul,” putting a constitutional transfer of power through elections in doubt, said Haroon Mir, a political analyst in Kabul. He said regional powers will again jockey for influence but none will be able to “fill the political or economic vacuum left after a U.S. exit. Ultimately, history will repeat itself.”

Naqi Farooqi, 24, an unemployed Afghan with a law degree in Kabul, said he feared that the pullback of U.S. forces would allow the return of Taliban rule and the shutting down of social and press freedoms, which the country has enjoyed since the Taliban regime was overthrown in 2001.

“The Taliban will come if the U.S. troops withdraw,” said Farooqi, who was waiting for an Indian film showing at a local movie theater with some friends. “People do not want the Taliban back. The U.S. forces should stay longer until Afghanistan can stand on its feet, economically and militarily,” he said.

In Pakistan, a senior official at the Foreign Ministry offered an almost identical view to that of Mir, adding that Pakistan could face an additional burden if political turmoil or insecurity send a new wave of Afghans fleeing across the border. He spoke on the condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the topic.

“Any troop withdrawal or major reduction in their number before peace is restored would be a very unwise move,” the official said. “It would bring chaos and disorder, more fighting and perhaps a civil war. He noted that after the withdrawal of U.S. support in 1989, and the turmoil that followed, “Pakistan too had to bear the brunt of what happened . . . we would not like to see a repeat of that.”

Mushahid Hussain, chairman of Pakistan’s Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said a U.S. troop drawdown would be “an admission of defeat in America’s longest war” and “the biggest military setback for the U.S.” since the fall of Saigon in 1975. He said it would increase Washington’s dependence on Pakistan as a force for peace in Afghanistan and could lead to a postponement of Afghan elections “to pave the way” for a broad unity government including the Taliban.

Until recently, U.S. officials have accused Pakistan of playing a double game, paying lip service to peace talks while harboring anti-Afghan Taliban militia forces. But in recent months, under a new prime minister, Pakistan has worked to convince the United States of its sincere interest in peace and sent representatives to peace talks last week in the UAE with U.S., Saudi and Taliban delegations.

Observers in both countries said they could not understand why Trump would suddenly decide to withdraw thousands of troops at a time when negotiations were finally beginning to gain traction. The Taliban have long demanded a total departure of U.S. forces, but many other issues are on the table, and the insurgents seemed to show their seriousness by sending an unusually senior group to the UAE talks.

Amrullah Saleh, a former chief of the Afghan intelligence agency, said in an email that Trump’s plan to cut back troops shows that he sees Afghanistan as a “burden, not a strategic & necessary ally.” He said there had been “no progress” in peace talks and “no sign” of Pakistan halting support to the Taliban, and now the country faces an additional threat of flagging U.S. military assistance.

“Maybe it will be the end for the US, but a bitter beginning for us,” he said.

Indian Embassy In Afghanistan Condemns Deadly Attack On Hindus, Sikhs

July 02, 2018

The Indian Embassy in Kabul has condemned the deadly attack by a suicide bomber that targeted a group of Hindus and Sikhs in the eastern Afghan province of Nangarhar...

Nangarhar health officials said that 17 of 20 dead in the attack are from the minority Hindu and Sikh community...

It was the second attack reported in Nangarhar Province over a 24-hour period.

On June 30, militants targeted a boys school in Khogyani district, beheading three workers and setting fire to the school building...

U.S. envoy Alice Wells is visiting Kabul as part of efforts to raise pressure on the Taliban to enter peace talks.

Wells, who is scheduled to hold talks in Pakistan on July 2, said Islamabad must do more [:disagree:] to pressure the Taliban and urge them to negotiate.

Blackwater is a Christian terrorist army. Their founder Eric Prince wants Armageddon and Jesus return by killing mulsims.

The Taliban will eat them for lunch. Welcome to Afghanistan.

Why Are So Many Christian Fundamentalist Trump Supporters Also Zionists?

Part I: For the same reason other Fundamentalist quasi-Christians are (hint: It’s not because they like Jews): They want the Apocalypse.
Why? So that they can have The Second Coming of Christ, The Rapture (be ‘raptured up’ in their perfect bodies), all be ‘saved’ and go to sit at the right hand of God the Father, and/or settle in for the 1,000-year Reign of Christ on Earth, otherwise known as the New Jerusalem or the Kingdom of God.

The catch: The ‘Second Temple’ (Solomon’s Temple) must be rebuilt on the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem, where the Al Aqsa Mosgue now stands. The Dome of the Rock is the holy site in Islam from which the Prophet flew to heaven and stood before the throne of God, and flew down to visit Hell and saw lots of people, mostly women, being tortured for all eternity (for doing things like talking too much or disobeying their husbands and going outside) on the back of a magical flying horse called Al-Buraq, who had the upper torso, head and face of a beautiful woman, kind of like a lady centaur with wings like Pegasus, in his (the Prophet’s) Night Journey or ‘Miraj,’ before the Second Coming, the Apocalypse, its mighty world-engulfing Battle of Armageddon, and the New Jerusalem can come to pass. (The Revelations of John, final Book of the New Testament, and the Hadith)

Why? So that God can destroy the Temple for the second time, which is the trigger for the Apocalypse… Well, that and the Whore of Babylon pouring “her chalice filled with the filth and pollutions of her fornications” out upon the world. (Revelations 17:4. For further questions concerning the bizarre logics presented in The Book of Revelations, please see additional notes below.)*

Reference: It is why Trump said that if North Korea’s threats to the United States continue, Pyongyang will be “met with fire and fury like the world has never seen.” It is why Trump’s evangelical adviser, Texas Mega-Church pastor Robert Jeffress, has released a statement saying the president has the moral authority to ‘take out’ North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. “When it comes to how we should deal with evildoers, the Bible, in the book of Romans, is very clear: God has endowed rulers full power to use whatever means necessary — including war — to stop evil,” Jeffress said. (Sarah Pulliam Bailey, ‘God has given Trump authority to take out Kim Jong Un, evangelical adviser says,’ The Washington Post, August 9th, 2017)

It is why Trump’s weaponizers — religious nihilists, the Mercer’s, Bannon, Pence, De Voses, Eric Prince (corporate mercenary), the Acton Institute (the Evangelical arm of the Christian business and economic imperialism arm of the Ayn Randian ‘Atlas Network’ active in incendiary Capitalist/Christian regime change operations worldwide), Trump’s Evangelical Base, the Mega-Churches, Christian and quasi-Christian Fundamentalists, et al — want war, whether with North Korea, Iran, Venezuela, Palestine, Syria, Niger, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, etc., etc., etc. ad infinitum, until the End Times cometh.

  • The Book of Revelations was written by John of Patmos, and inserted as the final Book in the New Testament, ratified by the Council of Nicea in 325 AD, at the behest of Constantine, who called the Council and presided, even though he was not then himself a Christian, but merely wanted to create a doctrine and a dogma to weaponize the Christian priesthood at the service of Rome, literally.

  • John of Patmos, the author of the Book of Revelations (not the Apostle John of the Gospels), the toxic New Testament meta-narrative we can no longer afford (if we ever could), was exiled by the Roman Empire to the island of Patmos as a criminal and as an insurgent. He therefore had even less love of the Romans than he had before his exile. The ‘Whore of Babylon’ of his revenge-fantasy-styled Epistle is thought by Bible scholars to represent the city of Rome, as the ‘new Babylon,’ and the Holy War of Armageddon and the Apocalypse wreaked by God and the Angels of heaven, St. Michael and the Angel of the Apocalypse, et al, is widely acknowledged to represent the total destruction of the pagan Roman Empire (the prospect of which didn’t take an act of prophesy to apprehend, as it was already well underway in the 5th century A.D., when John composed Revelations from his exile on Patmos).

  • For non-Christians, what about Armageddon? How’s that going to go down? How does the Judgement Day discriminate against those who have not accepted Christ as their personal Lord and Saviour — who are, for example, steadfastly Jewish, Hindu, Muslim (who don’t recognize Christ as the Son of God and divine in his being, but as a prophet, like Moses, and Mohammed), Buddhist, Confucian, Shamanist, or Pantheist (a system of belief that doesn’t discriminate among ‘ranks’ of divinity, but which sees everyone and everything in the created cosmos and the world as sacred)? How is making that distinction, as to who is designated for destruction and who isn’t, not in fact discriminatory Hate in action? And, in arbitrarily designating ‘Evil’ according to a local, punitive deity or parochial narrative, how does that very act, itself, not enact and embody evil? This becomes even more confusing when every Fundamentalist Christian sect claims a monopoly on righteousness, lays claim to the rank and status of God’s ‘Chosen People,’ and ends up regarding legions of fellow Christians as ‘non-Christians.’

1*TxfvCB8lYxy6oyxrzX60_Q.jpeg

  • And what about the Righteous in the face of Armageddon? As far as I recall — in Revelations at least, where we find this toxic meta-narrative about the Apocalypse (properly speaking, an eschatological discourse — The End Times, Armageddon, the Rapture, the Second Coming, the Judgement Day and the 1,000 Year Kingdom of God, etc.) most fully developed, a fissure is prophesied to open up in the earth near the Dome of the Rock, into which people in the know can run and be ‘saved.’

“Only Jehovah’s Witnesses, those of the anointed remnant and the “great crowd,” as a united organization under the protection of the Supreme Organizer, have any Scriptural hope of surviving the impending end of this doomed system dominated by Satan the Devil.” Watchtower 1989 Sep 1 p.19
Part II: …It’s Not Because They Like Jews. They Want The Apocalypse!
I think it is important to note a part of the Evangelical cunning plan to help bring about the Apocalypse that they do not advertise quite so widely. Though this ‘secret’ is only for the Right-Wing Christian ‘initiated,’ it is the basis for a multi-million dollar industry in religious tourism to Jerusalem every year, as ground-zero for the initiation of the End Times and the coming Rapture.

As I have written elsewhere, “Millions of Americans believe that the Bible predicts the future and that we are living in the last days. Their beliefs are rooted in dispensationalism, a particular way of understanding the Bible’s prophetic passages, especially those in Daniel and Ezekiel in the Old Testament and the Book of Revelation in the New Testament. They make up about one-third of America’s 40 or 50 million evangelical Christians and believe that the nation of Israel will play a central role in the unfolding of end-times events. In the last part of the 20th century, dispensationalist evangelicals become Israel’s best friends-an alliance that has made a serious geopolitical difference.”

The desire to defend and promote an expanding, sovereign Israel is due to the Evangelical belief that only then will the ‘Third Temple’ be built on Zion (the Mount of the Rock, currently the site of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, a profoundly holy site in Islam as this is where the Prophet is said to have flown up to heaven and down to hell on the back of his magical steed, Al-Barak, sort of a mixture of Pegasus and Chiron as she takes the form of a winged female centaur).

The Third Temple must be built by a strong and resurgent Israel, who re-takes Zion, so that God can destroy it a third and final time as the kick-off to Armageddon, thus triggering the Apocalypse, the Second Coming of Christ, the Rapture, and all the other good things coming to Good Christians. This corps, greatly grown at this point, having been inflated and expanded beyond counting due to the stimulus of 9–11 having encultured apocalyptic belief in the Book of Revelations as prognostication, with many having been instructed from the pulpit, is who elected Donald Trump to the Presidency of the United States.

Directors Franco Sacchi, Kate Davis and David Heilbroner captured, “…the apocalypse-obsessed wing of the evangelical Christian community,” describing “scenes of plainspoken faith, theological collision, and hubristic tourism,” in their documentary, Waiting for Armageddon. “The filmmakers follow Dr. H. Wayne House as he leads twenty-some evangelicals on a tour of the Israel and parts of the West Bank. The film portrays House and his tour as a busload of indignant, anti-Muslim and selectively naïve foreigners. On a boat tour of the Sea of Galilee, where Christians believe Jesus walked on water, they fly the American flag and pump “The Star-Spangled Banner” from loud speakers.” (Will Wlizlo, ‘Evangelical Christians Wait for Armageddon,’ in Utne Reader, 7/19/2010.)

Evangelicals have actually been at the business of making America over in their own image for a long time, since the 1980s. The Jr. Bush’s presidency advanced their aims to establish the post-Apocalyptic ‘Kingdom of God’ under the tutelage of Billy Graham Sr., geared up powerfully by Bush’s administrative hawks, Rumsfeld and Cheney. The Bush State Department advanced a secret agenda to de-stabilize Middle Eastern governments other than Israel’s, as revealed and documented by filmmaker-documentarist and historian, Olive Stone. Billy Graham Jr. delivered the Faith Community’s missive at Donald Trump’s inauguration, intimating that Trump had been sent by God to advance the political aims of Evangelicals.

In his 2004 book, “On the Road to Armageddon: How Evangelicals Became Israel’s Best Friend,” Timothy P. Weber described how, in the early 1980s, the Israeli Ministry of Tourism recruited evangelical religious leaders for free “familiarization” tours. Hundreds of Evangelical preachers got free trips to the Holy Land. The Ministry of Tourism was interested in very much more than mere tourist dollars. Their aim was deeply ideological; “…here was a way of building a solid corps of non-Jewish supporters for Israel in the United States by bringing large numbers of evangelicals to hear and see Israel’s story for themselves.” (http://www.beliefnet.com/faiths/chr...e-road-to-armageddon.aspx#vTAZ01TCeFuoRPs5.99)

Getting American evangelicals to travel to Israel enacted only half of the Israeli strategy. “The other half was to create a politically-engaged, pro-Israel force among conservative American Christians in the United States. Shortly after the Six-Day War, elements within the Israeli government saw the potential power of the evangelical subculture and began to mobilize it as a base of support that could influence American foreign policy. The Israeli government sent Yona Malachy of its Department of Religious Affairs to the United States to study American fundamentalism and its potential as an ally of Israel.” (http://www.beliefnet.com/faiths/chr...e-road-to-armageddon.aspx#vTAZ01TCeFuoRPs5.99)

Malachy was enthusiastically received by fundamentalist conspiracy theorists and she was able to influence many of them to issue strong pro-Israeli manifestos. By the mid-1980s, there was a discernible shift in the Israeli political strategy. The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the Jewish state’s major lobbying group in Washington, D.C., started re-aligning itself toward the American political right-wing, including Christian conservatives, and away from the traditional alliance of Jewish intellectuals with liberal, left-leaning groups. “Israel’s timing was perfect. It began working seriously with American dispensationalists at the precise moment that American fundamentalists and evangelicals were discovering their political voice.”(http://www.beliefnet.com/faiths/chr...e-road-to-armageddon.aspx#vTAZ01TCeFuoRPs5.99)

“This is important because, while only 36 percent of all Americans believe that the Bible is God’s Word and should be taken literally, 59 percent say they believe that events predicted in the Book of Revelation will come to pass. Almost one out of four Americans believes that 9/11 was predicted in the Bible, and nearly one in five believes that he or she will live long enough to see the end of the world. Even more significant for this study, over one-third of those Americans who support Israel report that they do so because they believe the Bible teaches that the Jews must possess their own country in the Holy Land before Jesus can return.” (http://www.beliefnet.com/faiths/chr...e-road-to-armageddon.aspx#vTAZ01TCeFuoRPs5.99)

The way to advance “God’s Kingdom” is to promote Armageddon and the Apocalypse, because only then is the Second Coming possible, with the 1,000-year long Kingdom of God coming in its wake. This Fundamentalist Christian, Betsy De Vos, and her brother, Eric Prince, want to bring on the End Times, as did their mother, who singlehandedly funded more anti-environmental Big Oil initiatives than any other single funder besides the Mercers, in their push to defend and uphold “Judeo-Christian values” through buying politicians and supporting Big Oil. Eric Prince is the mercenary militia corporate boss who founded Blackwater Ops, XE Services, and other shadow military organizations for hire.

Prince currently heads Frontier Services, and was discovered to have brokered back door direct communications between Trump and Putin. He is called the ‘real’ power behind the throne in Washington, in league with Bannon and Kushner in a militant pro-Israel stance. This is why Kushner was appointed the person in charge of negotiating ‘peace’ in the Middle East, and has just been sent to Iraq to negotiate sovereignty issues, despite having NO experience in foreign policy or affairs of state. What he does have is an intensely, emotionally committed Zionism (since his idealistic teenage years), dating from his youthful immersion in an ideologically radical kibbutz.

For Evangelicals, the Earth, and her resources (her beauties, landscapes, vistas, living creatures, plants, ecosystems, and elements) are not important. Nor are they to be cherished, as they are mere, foul matter. A hint is given as to how we should regard physical beauty in Revelations’ description of one of the other major triggers of the Apocalypse, the one that prompts observant Christians to spout that the day women are equal with men is the day the world will end:

“And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.” (Rev. 17:1–5)

“The Whore of Babylon” — Albrecht Dürer, woodcut, from the Apocalypse series, 1498.
Our physical bodies are similarly not to be cherished, as that is both pride and vanity, for “all flesh is grass” (Isaiah 40:6). In any event, our bodies, the trees, animals, seas, the elements, and — in (“alternative”) fact — the entire Earth shall be destroyed in an instant and replaced with better ones by God upon the Judgement Day. Those of us who believe and who have accepted Christ, even the faithful dead, shall be ‘raised up’ in their ‘perfect bodies’ and piled around ‘The Right Hand of God’ (whatever that means in spatial terms for a phantasmological dimension consisting of no physical ‘space’) in the New Jerusalem (“Kingdom of God”).

Everyone else, the unfidelitous unfaithful, the disbelieviers, the heretics, infidels and agnostics, the Jews (Muslims aren’t covered because, when John of Patmos wrote his “Revelations” in the 1st century A.D., Islam wasn’t around yet), the dross of Earth, and Earth’s base matter itself, shall be cast down into hell or ‘disappeared,’ depending upon their degree of ‘baseness,’ ‘sinfulness,’ or insubordination to the ‘New Order’ (a phrase reminiscent of Steve Bannon’s many little addresses to ultra-Conservative, Far Religious Right think tanks and secretive societies in the Vatican and elsewhere in devout Christendom).

The need to promote Israel on the parts of Evangelicals derives from the same philosophy as Fundamentalist Christian Secretary of the Interior under Nixon, James Watt, who opened up National Parks to oil exploration and development because he believed (and stated, many times, even though it was un-Constitutional, not to mention demented) that America, as a “Christian nation,” had the duty to exploit all of America’s natural resources and especially oil reserves in building a war machine and economy powerful enough to take down the “Great Satan” in the Apocalypse, which — to his and his fellows’ minds then, was the Soviet Union. Now, the “Great Satan” is Islam and its own corresponding Apocalyptic Fundamentalist militant fronts of ISIL and Al Qaida, et al, who, in turn, think that Judaism and Christianity are ‘The Great Satan.’

That this should be the case even though their own faith was derived from Judeo-Christianity, traced to the same patriarch, Abraham and his slave’s son, Ishmael, is a profound irony — one that we may expect could only have been born in the Hell all of the players in this sick scenario devoutly believe in. The connections among the beliefs are exact, with each camp projecting all the ‘bad’ bits onto the demonized ‘Other.’ Ishmael, himself, is a tremendously nuanced character. He was born from the female body-slave, or so-called ‘Handmaiden,’ of Sarah, the aged and infertile wife of the Judeo-Christian patriarch, Abraham.

After the equally old Abraham had raped the girl, Hagar, at the behest of the (like De Vos and her mom) consummately male-identified, aggressively female competitive Sarah, Hagar conceived and gave birth to Ishmael. By this means, Sarah could ‘bear’ a son by proxy through her slave; the child, like his mother, both legally belonged to Sarah as human property or chattel. The theme is echoed in the tale of Rachel giving her handmaid Bilhah to her husband, Jacob so that the girl could “…bear on my knees, that through her I too may have children.” (Gen 30:3)

Some Bible historians interpret this to mean that the adolescent slave had lain down above her mistresses’ body, making a kinky Old Testament sex ‘sandwich,’ and the patriarch had impregnated her in that proxy position. This story is of course the Old Testament narrative Atwood used for her profoundly dystopian novel plot device in ‘The Handmaid’s Tale.’

Yeah, we saw that with Raymond Davis

US is not leaving Afghanistan, they will now mostly focus on spec ops + drone operations and other AI techniques.

Soon Talitubbies will be hunted down by swarms of hornet drones without any US soldier getting involved in a head to head fight.

Look here little man from a little country, this discussion is about the big boys n thier games, it shldnt concern a little fish eater from a vessel state of India. Dont comment on things u obviously dont understand, raymond davis revealed loads before he was released, we got what we wanted from him, didnt wanted to add insult to US injury because it didnt suit us at that time. The entire blackwater network that he operated in Pakistan to target our nukes was taken down as a result. We failed there greatest strategy against Pak but again a little bloke from a slave nation wouldnt understand what it feels like to run with the wolves. On whoms behest did the Tali's come to the table with the US recently? Take a guess, yes... Pakistan. If u have a iq of a little child u would be able to pick up the pieces of the puzzle from here.

If US doesn't abide by rules then why haven't they used deadly biological weapons and wipe the entire Afghan population of the face of the earth rather than waste soldiers and material?
Because they will lose their hegemony by pissing off literally every country on Earth.

"What this makes clear to me is that no one should have the authority — the power — to declare any war whatsoever. The fact that this is still possible, so many decades into human awareness of war’s utter insanity, reveals the paradox that civilization remains economically tied to its own destruction." (Photo: Patrick Harris/flickr/cc)

Donald Trump stands cluelessly at the edge of history, exemplifying everything wrong with the past, oh, 10,000 years or so.

The necessity for fundamental change in humanity’s global organization is not only profound, but urgent.

Trump’s latest outburst about North Korea’s nukes — threatening that country “with fire, fury, and frankly power the likes of which the world has never seen before” — creates a comic book Armageddon scenario in the media, except, of course, his power to launch a nuclear war on impulse is real.

What this makes clear to me is that no one should have the authority — the power — to declare any war whatsoever. The fact that this is still possible, so many decades into human awareness of war’s utter insanity, reveals the paradox that civilization remains economically tied to its own destruction.

Another icon of this paradox is Erik Prince, immensely wealthy mercenary, notorious founder of the terror organization Blackwater, who had cozy ties to the Bush administration back when the 21st century’s endless wars were just getting underway and now, with another unelected Republican in the White House, has recently made a grab at the business opportunity still represented by these wars:

Let’s privatize the quagmire!

Sixteen years on, the war in Afghanistan is the longest in American history, and presently in a state of “stalemate,” according to the mainstream consensus that unquestioningly justifies this country’s ongoing militarism. For instance: “The U.S. can’t win but can’t afford to lose,” USA Today opined in a recent editorial about Afghanistan, inanely demanding that Trump “at least should decide what to do next” and setting the stage for Prince’s business plan, which is to restructure and privatize the war.

In an op-ed a few days ago in that same publication, Prince wrote: “The option to simply abandon Afghanistan is enticing but in the long run would be a foreign policy disaster. The Kabul government would collapse. Afghanistan would be a rallying cry for global jihadists.”

And suddenly there it was, the American paradox in full splendor: Oh yeah, we’re fighting terrorists. We have to keep killing people, keep pouring trillions of dollars into our wars, because bad people are out there threatening us because they hate our freedoms. And the guy reminding us of this is the founder of Blackwater, private contractor in Iraq, whose mercenaries were responsible for one of the most shocking acts of lethal aggression — a.k.a., terrorism — of the early years of that war.

Blackwater contractors were accused of “firing wildly into cars stalled in midafternoon traffic at Nisour Square on Sept. 16, 2007, pouring machine-gun bullets and grenades into crowds, including women clutching only purses and children holding their hands in the air,” as the Washington Post reminded us recently.

This act of carnage, in which 17 Iraqis were killed and 20 more injured, typifies what you might call American terrorism. It may, at some quasi-conscious level be religiously motivated. Indeed, Jeremy Scahill, reporting in 2009 for The Nation on the lawsuit filed on behalf of Iraqis harmed in the Nisour Square massacre, wrote that, according to a former Blackwater employee who testified in U.S. federal court during the trial:

“Prince ‘views himself as a Christian crusader tasked with eliminating Muslims and the Islamic faith from the globe,’ and . . . Prince’s companies ‘encouraged and rewarded the destruction of Iraqi life.’ . . .

Furthermore, Scahill wrote, “Mr. Prince’s executives would openly speak about going over to Iraq to ‘lay hajiis out on cardboard.’ Going to Iraq to shoot and kill Iraqis was viewed as a sport or game. Mr. Prince’s employees openly and consistently used racist and derogatory terms for Iraqis and other Arabs, such as ‘ragheads’ or ‘hajiis.’”

This all fits quite horrifically into the definition of jihadism, or terrorism, but because it’s American, it brings something extra to the table as well. This is terrorism for profit. And it’s been going on for a long time, in a realm far bigger than that occupied by Erik Prince’s business interests. You could call it colonialism, or the domination complex. The world is ours. This is the “greatness” Trump sold to enough Americans to squeeze into the Oval Office.

Not only does he have no patience with a military stalemate in Afghanistan — “we aren’t winning, we’re losing” — but he can’t stand the fact that the shattered country’s mineral wealth isn’t in our hands.

At a recent, well-publicized meeting with his generals, Trump “lamented that China is making money off of Afghanistan’s estimated $1 trillion in rare minerals while American troops are fighting the war,” according to NBC News. “Trump expressed frustration that his advisers tasked with figuring out how the U.S. can help American businesses get rights to those minerals were moving too slowly, one official said. . . .

“The focus on the minerals was reminiscent of Trump’s comments early into his presidency when he lamented that the U.S. didn’t take Iraq’s oil when the majority of forces departed the country in 2011.”

Trump leads a political system that’s still grounded in the colonial era. His reckless arrogance is its global face. He stares at the audacity of nuclear-armed North Korea and threatens to blow it to kingdom come, imagining that there will be profit to reap in the aftermath.

If US doesn't abide by rules then why haven't they used deadly biological weapons and wipe the entire Afghan population of the face of the earth rather than waste soldiers and material?
:hitwall:, i knew u were a brain fart but didnt knw u were this stupid, i am not going to continue this conversation with a kid who doesnt knw the difference between cold calculated warfare and genocide. @Dubious mate kindly take care of this little troll who has the audacity to spread his bs on games way above his head bieng a submissive bengali and all.

Lol did I hurt your feelings?

Reality is you guys let Raymond Davis go scott free despite how he murdered your countrymen.

Want to know why? Because your army and government are also a part of Blackwater, they take money from Uncle Sam to kill their own people.

Salala raid

Abbottabad raid

Raid on Mullah Omar's successor in Balochistan Quetta

Etc.

Then don't speak on behalf of the person I originally quoted if you can't defend his argument either.
I actually will not dignify with a response, i would waste my words only on some one from a country who is considered a power on geopolitical scale but not to a bengali from a vessel state of india. U see my friend we are the sole muslim nuclear power with the most powerful army among all the muslim world, we defeated the soviets and trapped the yanks in war of attrition in Afghanistan while u, im sorry to say, are a slave froma country that licks the boots of the local pagan power.@Dubious

LOL we will see. This Erik fool thinks he can achieve what the US and NATO forces combined couldn't achieve in the past 17 years. That too with limited resources LMAO

LOL the unconventional method will kill and humiliate so many Afghans that the Taliban will become much stronger. We have already seen how effective the unconventional method was in Iraq LOL This Erik Prince took such a beating that he went into hiding. His contractors were killing ordinary Iraqis left and right. Iraqi militias were slicing these so-called contractors into miniscule pieces. Erik talks a lot and his record proves that he is nothing, but a little liar.

China, Iran, Pakistan and Russia will bury Erik Prince and his CIA so deep into the ground that everyone will have a very hard time finding where they are. The US is fighting many foes in Afghanistan. If the US goes the unconventional route it will be buried in Afghanistan. Mark my words.
