The Taliban are capturing lots of equipment, but the question is can they operate said equipment and for how long. Humvees for example, without proper parts and maintenance, will be useless in a few months at most.

No they can't. They also got a lot of Russian equipment back in time when Russia left. They only kept basic ones, AK47s, rockets launchers and some lightweight machine guns. Most of this stuff will just rot to ground.
