The DG ISPR added that 837 militant hideouts have been destroyed and 253 tonnes of explosives recovered during the operation.

Delving into further details, DG ISPR claimed, “18,087 weapons, including HMG, LMG, sniper rifles, rocket launcher, AK-47s have been recovered from militant hideouts in NWA alone.”

“The whole nation came together to totally eliminate terrorism,” he said, while acknowledging the country’s media and civil society for playing an effective role.

Furthermore, the military vowed that the operation would continue to achieve a terror-free Pakistan.

“Few effects of the operation have improved the environment — the visit of Chinese president and other dignitaries, Pakistan, Zimbabwe cricket and the China, Pakistan Economic Corridor.”

Pakistan Army launched Operation Zarb-e-Azb on June 15 last year following a deadly attack on the Karachi airport after talks with the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan failed.

Army chief General Raheel Sharif has on multiple occasions affirmed that operation would continue till the elimination of the last terrorist.

Further, earlier today, while addressing the Naval Academy passing out parade, General Raheel said, “The entire nation expresses resolve to eliminate the menace of terrorism.”

“Operation Zarb-e-Azb is delivering decisive results and terrorists are resorting to desperate actions,” he added.

Claiming that the battle against terrorism cannot be won by the armed forces alone, the army chief said it is “encouraging to see entire nation pursuing this national effort with a great sense of purpose.”

Earlier, it was announced that the operation would extend to Shawal Valley and Balochistan as well.

Pakistan Army has cleared large areas of North Waziristan Agency and Khyber Agency from terrorists through military operations and the next step is to clear Shawal Valley.

Only 2,763?
But salam to the brave jawans who laid down their life fighting these khwarijs. May Allah grant our soldiers Jannah.
And brutal hell to those rat shits who wastefully consume our precious oxygen on earth!

The U.S. and Pakistan joined hands due to our shared stance against terrorism. No two other nations could understand each other’s sacrifices as we’ve lost thousands of brave soldiers in fighting terrorism. We have always appreciated Pakistan’s sacrifices in the region. It is our wish to see peace prevail throughout the region, and we commend the efforts of Pakistani security forces who are working diligently to counter terrorism.

Ohh No You DONT.......... you dont get to play the sacrifice card here, it was your kind that brought hell at our doorsteps & as always you were the first to flee leaving us behind to clean the mess without proper tools. and please don't talk about appreciation of sacrifices of our soldiers,Remember ?.. it was your men who killed my countrymen at salala ... I have yet to hear a simple sorry from your president. .... those 24 soldiers we lost that day .... we are still wondering what happened to that inquiry who was punished ... who as guilty ? ..... Any Answers ???? ... the Friend you are ....

"General Jhon apologises and hilary clinton says sorry "

which one of these is the head of state of US ?

The military and Department of State are the correct venues for said apology, which, BTW, was accepted by the Pakistani side. Chapter closed, and the relationship moved onwards.
