13 of the Most Delicious Desi Food Items From Lahore that You Probably Don’t Know About

Sorry. My phone.

Broon.

Fresh baked hard crusted bread. In the shape of buns.

Parsis love it for either gravy dipping or for buttering up with tea.

Cheers, Doc

Bhartis always think we are not capable of of making any vegetarian dishes, but they are so off. One of the most delicious foods in Pakistan that you can not find in Indian cuisine is the Pakistani street cholay. They are absolutely to die for. Have never even seen Indians make an attempt at cholay in their restaurants out here in the US. Also our sarson ka saag, karayle, bhindi, alu gobi, and baingan are better. Hell, even our daals are better than the ones I've tried from Indian restaurants, because you guys don't spice them properly.

We use different spices for our dishes, so they taste a little bit different. The ingredient difference might be subjective though, because bhartis might be more used to the way their foods are seasoned and vice versa with Pakistanis.

I still think Pakistani food is better though.
