I think the problem with Amir Liaqat is - He is a straight shooter clean cut guy, Danga fasad is not his style, ocassional Joke Bazi or Poetry here and there , witty comments

He likely joined MQM with promise of a future Mayer role or High post in Government.
However , he got placed in an uncomfortable position between MQM and National Security Aparatus.

Altaf sold him out and to be honest most of his Local party members by his irresponsible actions

One side Gangs of Altaf , and other side Security Force , he personally was not trained to handle this type of scenario

Obviously shaken up - That he could not be the next Mayor of Karachi or similar role , instead he tarnished his Legacy as an analyst (Which will take some time to recover)



Hopefully he will now understand why many TV personalities do not get involved in Politics and instead they work to entertain Pakistani viewers on TV

He announced his decision to Join the party close to Elections so perhaps , standing in election were part of the Package offered to him - which is why he started to appear on the Nation TV

His "Akal" come to senses once he was in Custody and realized , what a Mess of a situation he is in due to action of his party's leader

At end of day I think he made correct decision to Immediately leave MQM

Judging by MQM past history , I would not be surprised if there would be a price tag on Amir's head from Altaf , Military should keep a close eye on Liaqat. But all the best to Amir Liaqat for coming clean and realizing his error quickly

He is media person, its not worth become member of political party. He make millions every month.

Becasue Altaf kills anyone who leaves his party (Indirectly of course under mysterious circumstances)

I think Kamal Mustafa (who left MQM and for PSP) clearly exposed MQM in past, indicating a whole generation has been lead astray , by Altaf

His Gang members are notoriously known in Karachi for taking out anyone who wants to leave

His goons ran operations to collect bhata (well known in most circles)

I think not long ago a man was suppose to Join PTI but right on election day he "mysteriously disappeared and then 2 days later showed up with MQM" It was a interesting case not long ago but showed how people are kidnapped and suddenly they appear again in front of camera singing praises for MQM. While he went missing on Eve of elections his family and PTI were searching for his where about (This happened not long ago this year)

MQM = Mafia Gang , front row is presentable people , lower levels are shadowy figures

When anyone mentions the term "MINUS 1 " you will see the fear in most of the workers who try to avoid the discussion
