ISSB isn't hard just practice like any other exam and you will get in, alot of people apply for it as a side career not really caring if they get in so they dont put much effort into it thats why alot dont get selected.

If you join the armed forces you receive a contract so you cant really retire until it says so, you can however be discharged if you become disabled. I dont exactly know the details

If a soldier quits without informing it will be counted as a desertion and you will spend time in jail

If a soldier retires he can always join mujahid forces which is an acting reserve, I dont really know if you can apply again because theres an age limit.
