What's new

India wins the PR war in Afghanistan, guess why?

Basically the old Pakistan has gone

The old Pakistan was sentimental and even went against its own interests in the name of sentiment

So we blindly helped Afghans or arabs without leveraging or asking for anything major in return just for example

Those times have gone and a more aggressive, assertive and patriotic Pakistan is emerging who has self interest as a guiding principal

If Afghanistan wants to act like a enemy then it and all its namak haram people should be treated like enemies

India is our dushman unless you can side with us against this dushman then dont expect help from us on any front and you better bring something else to the table to stop us being openly hostile to you

I dont like Afghans i want them out of our country, they can be prostitutes in india I dont care, just go

Racist alert.

@Horus : time to clean up thread from racist punks :P

If Afghans cannot recognise and be grateful to us for our hospitality and support over the last many decades, then they should not be welcome in Pakistan any more.

You think India is not using you for their own needs? OK your mindset is against Pakistan because of the propaganda that you have swallowed, that India is spending hundred of millions of dollars that it desperately needs to feed and clothe it's own destitute and starving masses for no other reason but goodwill to all men that sit at least 900 KM away from it's on borders.

And Chabahar is but one port that is one of the longest ways out to the world compared to Gwadar and Karachi and wagah, so you take the high road and take the ungrateful uneducated, drug smuggling clan that has been surviving in PK for over 40 years and settle them back home or ask your so generous friend India to add them to their slums.

With Afghan fruits being banned from export via Pakistan, India volunteers to send cargo planes to take them to Delhi & tax free, officials

Pakistan and Afghanistan must get its act together!

We have another commodity..... Afghans........ Will India be generous enough to send cargo planes and take them to Delhi that too tax free? Nah I don't think so …….. After all Afghans serve a very good purpose of hating and hurting Pakistan ………….. Same Pakistan that hosted these Afghans for more than three decades.

Pakistan has its act together and right but it is high time Kabul comes to term with the reality and reality is Pakistan has changed, no more free love and stuff ……… you won’t be forgiven for your crimes against us this time.

Are you one of those afghans who blindly follow what your media tells you?. Your media says KPK wants to join Afghanistan .

We are an emerging economic power. NASDAQ celebrated Pakistan day recently and had a Pakistan Flag in times square. Do you know what that means? It means you are the next big thing .

As for sufferings your dear friend India has more poverty than Pakistan .

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/wor...els-higher-than-Pakistans-says-UN-report.html

Sanitation , Gender gap , Housing conditions , access to electricity in Pakistan are much better than India. Since India is your friend you dont want to hear them being behind or having more poverty than us. They will remain ' shining India ' to you as far they keep on helping you . As for poverty in Afghanistsn I bet its somewhere near like 70 % of the population. So no one from Pakistan is suffering it's just you and India .

Like always you avoid facts and figures regarding Pakistan be it scientific output , university rankings , poverty etc etc so i would let you be happy in your own world. ;)

Oh sure, you had 1 day at NASDAQ that must make Pakistan the greatest economy in the world.

Poverty has nothing to do with how much we are progressing or how we can help Afghanistan.
BTW India has reduced its poverty by half among the fastest countries to do so, which will continue to decrease even more so, but sure you can always reimagine your past glories and our past failures, your half a decade old news link makes that very abundantly clear.

India is a BRIC nation, a 2 trillion dollar economy with the fastest growth rate in the world, while our projected growth rate is 8-10%.
Where is Pakistan again?
Oh wait, Pakistan had a day at Nasdaq.

An economically lagging Pakistan putting all its egg in CPEC(btw we have several programs like those) is somehow better than India.
But then again, you think that Pakistan's 4.4% growth rate makes you an emerging economic power.

As for general well being, Indians are far better off than Pakistanis, HDI(Human Development Index) of both Pakistan and India is a direct indicator of this fact.

It is quite clear that it is Pakistanis who are living in a bubble and not the other way round, enjoy denial though.

Pakistanis don't care about Afghanistan. With or without any support from anyone Afghanistan is set to fail. Simply because it is inherently a tribal society run by opium mafia and a bunch of bacha bazi warlords.

Pakistan should close the border with Afghanistan because its security and survival depends on it. Let India take care of Afghanistan. India should also take in as many Afghan refugees as possible. Afghans aren't welcome anymore in Pakistan.

Afghanistan should now prepare itself to make use of Chabahar. Cheap and effective Pakistani land routes won't be available anymore. All roads from and to Pakistan are off-limits for Afghans.

In return, Afghanistan will block Pakistan route to North Asia and make it take the more difficult and near impossible route through Pakistan adding cost and time.

Two can play the same game!

Our friend @Khan_21 has tried to compare Afghanistan (country still fighting an imposed war) to Pakistan, sitting bar that low is probably not a good thing to do.

2 trillion economy but still behind in poverty , sanitation , income inequality , median household income , % of middle class and what not :D .

The issue I am trying to bring up here is that in greater scheme of things we all lose, we can block each others access which in turn hurts us all as a region. We can't live in a bubble and in order for us to flourish we need to flourish as a region and get out of this zero sum game mindset.

But of course as you can see most of the thread is being spammed by trolls who are themselves enjoying the good life in the West and chest thumping here :)

No I just compared India to Pakistan whom you consider shining but they lag behind us in Happiness indexes , poverty , middle class income and what not .

Yep, people of this forum live in a delusional world thinking that India or PAkistan is the most powerful nation in the world after USA or China.

Just deal with it :)

An 18-year-old Indian girl has married a stray dog as part of a tribal ritual designed to ward off an evil spell.

Mangli Munda, from a remote village in the eastern Indian state of Jharkhand, wed the canine in a lavish ceremony.

The wedding was hastily organised by village elders after a local guru led Mangli's parents to believe that the teenager possessed ill-luck and that marrying a man would bring destruction to the family and her community.

Ceremony: The dog, Sheru, a stray, falls asleep during the lavish ceremony

The baffled dog, Sheru, a stray found by the girl's father, was brought to the wedding in a chauffeur driven car and welcomed by revellers.

Mangli, who has not been to school, said she was not happy to wed a dog, but insisted that it will help change her fortunes

Nowhere in the world such backward stuff happens . This is only possible in a place like India .
