Why is Pakistan doing this with Israel? Shirin Mazari in the NA

Sorry Israel won't be recognized ever. And Dr Mazari has raised valid questions. No need to participate in an exercise which has Israel in it and arranged by the country known for backstabbing us
Than stop recognizing India as well or quit this hypocrisy.

Don't recognize us, couldn't care less.
In the meantime, ull create more enemies where u don't need them, and we'll continue to make India stronger by selling them technologies in various of aspects.
Actually thats a two way street. However for now both Israel and Pakistan stay out of each others way. In fact there is some sort of cooperation between the two.
By the way why only chose his post to counter? there are others who have a different opinion on Israel.

The only benefit I see from having relation with Pakistan is larger acceptance in the muslim world, while it has many drawbacks, like relations with India.

Yasterday's article.
it seems that this benefit may soon be gone too, so for as much as I can see, it's more of a Pakistani interest to recognize Israel, than it's a Israeli one.
We're doing fine, 300 billion economy for 8 million people, inventing new stuff every day, found oil and gas lately and more to be discovered, new relations with arab states, and so on

Next time PTI will complain why Pakistan is participating in Olympics where isreali athletes are also participating.
Good Point.

Though Israel and Saudi Arabia (which is considered highly anti-Israel) do not have diplomatic relations, but they do have behind-the-scenes diplomatic and intelligence cooperation between them. Probably Pakistan too! We don't know what goes on behind diplomatic closed doors!

Some countries rather leave the hatred behind and move past it toward the future, and some countries rather let their hatred control them against their national interests

What's wrong in Having an Exercise with Israel??

Hello it's an International Exercise?
If Pakistan doesn't recognize Israel doesn't mean other countries also don't recognize Israel...

I am more focused on the whole US aspect, I mean, they 300 million in aid and we still go?

I doubt Pakistan recognising Israel will automatically fix things. Also, I do think it isn't a good option for us at the moment, but hopefully in the future.

Who's interest is it in more can be debatable, for now i am only looking at it from moral stand. I dont think Israel has a problem recognising Pakistan, this is one sided and hypocrisy on our part and i have no problem in calling it out.

Not probably, definitely. There have been bucket loads of threads about it.

Israel recognize Pakistan, it's not even hypocrisy, it's stupidity.
Not recognize a country that already exist.

Whatever you want to call it, hypocrisy, stupidity it is what it is. Successive governments of Pakistan have just played into the hands of mullahs so as not to affect their vote bank. It was only under Musharraf that things started to move towards normalisation of ties between Israel and Pakistan. It could not materialise unfortunately. The current government under NS, well we can forget it. He is nothing but a slave to house of Saud.

I will always think Musharraf was a good leader, despite what people might think.

One of my friends is a PAF fighter pilot was sent to US on training and he told me there were Israeli pilots too and they would train with them .... So what's the point?

Musharraf had a vision, Pakistan comes first. This is what i liked about him but like everybody else he too got greedy for power, and under that stupid reconciliation ordinance, he brought back the most corrupt people (BB and Zardari) back to Pakistan and because of this it also paved way for NS to return. This made him lose respect at least he lost mine.

During the end yes I have to agree, he lost his way.
