T-129 for Pakistan one step closer

Let's assume that Pakistan place an order of 36 T129b by end of this year, how long TAI will take to materialize deliveries?

The T-129B is a must for the Pakistani forces. The Cobras are really being stretched, and with Turkey you get a warm dependable country that you can rely on.
Oh and ask for Altay as well lol.

No. Turkey and Pakistan should jointly develop a new tank for Pakistani requirements. Altay is far too expensive then it needs to be for Pakistan requirements IMO and may underperform in climates it was NOT developed for. Tank should be developed around new indigenous engine being developed by Austrian-Turkish cooperation and parts should be produced in pakistan.
 
Pakistan should not by any means rush into T129, as the heli uses US made engine & may be some other more components. US can easily block the supplies & then once again Pakistan will be in trouble. I don't know why WZ10 & specially MI28 is not considered for Pakistan army. There are some people saying that WZ10 is having problems in hot weather, well this is one of the reason what Chinese wanted to know from Pakistan & more reasons are, how WZ performed in war against terrorists & manoeuvring. Chinese are ready to fix the issues as they wanted to know issues with WZ10 & now they know. But seriously why MI28 is not considered for PA, as it is one of the best heavy weight attack helicopter.
 
Mi28 is RUSSIAN Gunship who is still closest allay of India compared to Pakistan.
Why don't you use common sense that what what can happen with Mi28.....?
Russian will provide us sub standard gunship with string attached ....... why you want it in first place? Our relations are just in initial stages and we have yet to receive deliveries of Mi35 .......
And Z10 is back up plan, as final solution.
When all other options will collapse, Z10 doors will open for Pakistan ......

Well MI-28 and MI-35 are easy to get as compared to T-129.

Dear Cabatli, ATAK is a generation or two ahead in its class. With so much room for improvement. And Turks will take it to next level. Pak, should it go for this chopper, must esltablish local production and build it numbers. Airborne infantry.. this will bring the cost down. And based on this project, Pak-Turk cooperation can move on to other platforms.
 
Z-10 is a waste of time a joke sorry

PAA would continue to use Zulu as a high tier platform where as Z-10's and ATAK as strike and rapid deployment platforms.

Mi-35 is for a specialized role hence only 1-2 sqd. would be added.

This leads to an interesting prospect... What if Pakistan is able to procure a western engine that can be used on ATAK, Z-10 and Z-9? The Italian might be interested...

I have seen z-10 flying two times and have spent 10 years seeing and being with helicopters.Z-10 is the quietest of the bunch.Don't know about RCS.
It must have been incorporating some tech given to us by US, during ubl raid.

Yep, Probably referring to the reports of using RAM and Anti IR paint.

Deep down I am inclined towards Z-10 because I've seen it fly just a few meters above my head. I was in my room when I heard it and I knew those propellers don't belong to any chopper in service with the military. Believe me it is just as sexy as it looks in those pictures. No, I take that back. It is more awesome than that .. It is bloody huge. :D

The Turks should arrange a flypast over my terrace. :P

That's not how things work. I firstly can hardly tell the difference but what's more important is variables such as engine power, pitch and cabin noise.

The more power you apply through the collective and the more you push forward on the cyclic the faster the helicopter will travel and the louder it will get. This is due to pitch of the propellers and airflow.

Then there is the issue of cabin noise and even the quality of camera speakers.

But certain propellers are simply quieter then others.
