What's new

Baluchistan Interior minister threaten to expel Afghan refugees by force.

You mean to tell me, other nations will allow this behavior by refuges and let itself burn because fearing of losing international relations. I don't think so pal, first sign of trouble and they will be on their way back to where they came from. While you (Afghanistan) use our hospitality on one hand, you allow our enemy to use your soil to attack us.

As far as passport is concerned.↓↓

Nadra blacklists 130,000 Afghans for possessing fake CNICs

ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) has blacklisted 130,000 Afghan citizens after confirmation.

One lakh more Afghan citizens would be investigated during the current year in the absence of their family tree. According to details received from Nadra’s sources, Afghan citizens have developed vast businesses and properties in all parts of the country including Islamabad and due to this authorities concerned are facing problems in identifying them.

However, Nadra has achieved success in figuring out 130,000 Afghan nationals in the country having fake Computerised National Identification Cards (CNIC).Sources further said that there was a possibility of identifying one lakh more fake CNIC holder Afghan citizens during the current year of 2016. It is worth mentioning here that more than 2.5 million Afghan citizens had secured Pakistani citizenship through illegal means when the CNIC cards were going to be computerised. The Ministry of States and Frontier Regions (Safron) and the Ministry of Interior have also informed the government in this regard and there is a possibility that a further million Afghan nationals would be identified after this.

No disrespect my friend but you are not picking my arguments correctly and thus I will stop trolling you :)

/Peace

You have raised a couple of points
I hope you appreciate that I have nothing personal in this. I think me and you are probably closer in outlook than 90% of others here. However we happen to hail from differant sides of the Durand.

run in circles.
We could but I certainly am confident that like I said the "opportunity loss" has been greater for Pakistan than Afghanistan. 27th December 1979 was bad day for Afghanistan but it was worse for Pakistan as for the former this was direct product of it's internal failures. The effects on Pakistan were collateral. I am not saying that we should become prisoners of the past but we should recognize what happened. Sadly the amount of hatred in Afghans against Pakistani is unbelievable as I have experianced in some forums. I only wish more people like you existed across the border but alas that is not the case.

past we will get no where
Agreed 100%

hell-hole by the rest of the world,
That I can personally confirm from experiance. Af-Paks are what people in the West love to hate. They draw little differance between both.

We think we are smart, but actually we are pretty dumb!
Tell that to @Samandri Apparently we are citadel of "ghairatmand".

address each others genuine grievances.
I sincerely hope we can. You know it would be lovely to drive from Islamabad all the way to Kabul and beyond without wars, troubles and checks like in Europe. I don't expect this anytime soon though.

In Balochistan, the issue of Afghan refugees has another twist to it. Balochs claim that Ghilzai settlers in 19th century Balochistan (who are few lakhs nowadays), are illegal Afghan refugees who have just recently gained Pakistani citizenship through efforts of PMAP , to undermine the majority of Balochs in the province. British Gazetteers of 1901, have listed two types of domiciled Pashtuns in the province "natives" and "semi'-natives" (nomads and semi-nomads settlers from Afghanistan). British have given the numbers of Ghilzai citizens in each district , so it proves the claim of Balochs wrong. Here is 1962 cicrcular from Pakistan affirming the Pakistani citizenship of "semi-indigenous in Quetta

- Afghanistan was invaded by the Soviets not because of our internal politics but by hegemonic nature of the Soviet expansion. Pakistan was next in line, but you guys should count your blessing because we paid with million casualties. and the rest of the world took the credit for Soviet downful.

-
Not true my friend, the reason Soviet intervened in Afghanistan was because they did not want Islamic influence to make its way into the adjacent soviet republics of Uzbekistan, Tajikstan etc, Pakistan was never on their hit list, may be Zia at times tried to project this argument, the truth is nothing could be further that the truth.

You are stuck at Baloch vs Pashtun when the rest of the world is advancing fast. Can you tell me why you are acting as a Pakistani when you are not?

Every last Afghan - man, woman, child and infant needs to leave Pakistan. In dignity if possible or by force if necessary. No more. Not a single one should be spared.

Afghanistan was invaded by the Soviets not because of our internal politics
Sorry. Incorrect. Stronger eat the weak. Soviet's invaded Afghanistan precisely because of Afghan weakness created by their failures internally. Weakness is not a natural condition but brought on by the weak themselves for lack of, for failure in attending to their inherant vulnerability. This invites the strong to attack. Soviet Union was a bully. No doubt about it. But it did not attack Iran, Turkey, China etc. It attacked Afghanistan because of it's internal weakness brought about by fissures in Afghan polity. Afghanistan danced with the Soviets in the 1970s and you know where that led to.

Pakistan was next in line
Yes. And you see what Pakistan did as result. Ity certainly did not decide to invite Soviets to the evening party to see the guest refuse to leave come night.

Mullah Industry has been used by the Pakistani state to surprise nationalist pashtun movements and of course the Soviet invasion precipitated that.
Yes. I am aware of that. Without going into that you know who helped to massage Pashtun movements? When you know that ethnic nationalism would tear apart Pakistan and Afghanistan as both countries are stitched up fabric of differant ethnic groups. Having differant ethnic groups is the rule rather than exception in in our part of the world.

Mullah factories not stopped after the Mujis won the war
Frankly Pakistan is what I call a "weak state" despite the nukes. It would have struggled to get grip on these madaris by 1990 because this whole jihad thing had bought out entire generation of Pakistani's. It's supporters were everywhere including inside the establishment by 1990. However yes your right. This "asset" that existed was then used to service the state. After all it was "halal" from 1979-89 so what was the big deal that it became "haram" after 1989? A tool of state policy kept on being used as tool of state policy that had taken traction post 1979.

However be that it may but the real. I mean real afterburner was the Soviet Jihad. I don't have figures to hand but the number of madaris mushroomed. That made Mullahs into what they are today as before most had minor to nominal influence on national politics.

Running in circles
Agreed. But at least it;s civilized.

You see the folly of this approach!
Killing. Fighting. Sect based politics. Primitive tribal affiliations and impulses. That is indeed "folly".

Anybody that can prove they were or moved to Pakistan before 1986 ought to be given Pakistani citizenship. This is what would happen in the "uncivilized West". Human rights ought to mean something to people. However any such persons caught acting or doing contrary to the interests of Pakistani state should have their citizenship rights revoked. There should be balance between human rights and security of the state.

I have visited their website rather have better knowledge. They had been cutting funds on and off and for your information their money is stolen by same Afghan refugees not Pakistan. They go willingly get the package and return to Pakistan the very next day.

BTW you need to read the history of UNHCR stopping funds for Afghans in Pakistan. for your information UNHCR had stopped feeding refugees in Pakistan since 1997.
dekho yar its simple Pakistani Government was 11th most corrupt nation in 2011 . Are you seriously saying pak government has no corruption ? lol really ? u think i go to fields and not to heated water running toilet to piss and shit because i like too ? you think our tax money is purely used to facilitate us ? u think Zardari built his 200 canal home on pure sweat ? you think Hamza shabaz has two Mercedes benz because he worked for it ?
Stop trying to justify that we have no coruption and accept the facts that our money is being transfered to overseas accounts whether its the money we got from UNCHR or whether its the money a field worker paid as tax .

The fact still remains that we are both considered as a hell-hole by the rest of the world, the common still suffers and all we do is find new ways of undermining each other.

We think we are smart, but actually we are pretty dumb!

Why should we care if the west considers us a hellhole when the ground realities are different? We have that particular image because of having the dubious honour of being a neighbour to Afghanistan . Dumb?Your media portrays us as a very clever and shrewd country that knows how to reach its strategic goals .

Our GDP per capita was higher than India(A country considered as rising and shining by west) for 95 % of its 69 year history , Much better infrastructure , Much Less Poor People . So I couldn't care less what the west thinks of us . Maybe they are butthurt because Pakistan is a regional power now .

Our overall economy is bigger than 70 % of the countries and poverty is the lowest in south Asia . If we go by what the west thinks of us than Pakistan might as well cease to exist . :disagree:

Rest of the World is advancing fast yet you support the claim that proper Pakistani citizens of Baluchistan are illegal Afghan refugees

You are an afghan refugee why do you have Pakistan's flag?

Easy man....... whats up with the rage and hysteria?. A while ago you yourself agreed with me , that Ghilzais and some Durrani settlers in 19th century Baluchistan, are full and proper Pakistanis, like Hazaras of Quetta. Now you are disagreeing with me, changing your colours. Sarfraz Bugti is trying to rile up Pashtuns by saying that "We Balochs" will do this and that with Afghan refugees..........which according to Balochs also include the ones who settled in Balochistan in 19th and early 20th century. There is tussle of Baloch sardars with PMAP over this issue, every body knows that. I myself support returning back of Afghan refugees when state order it, but i can not support the Balochi version of it.

I stand with truth. No matter how much you try, i wont stop speaking truth..........

Are you an Afghan?......what are your views about Khushal Khan Khattak, the famous poet from your tribe?
