25 Countries With The Highest Murder Rates In The World

Does this list consists of deaths from terrorism or war? If not, then I don't think deaths from drug cartels incidents should be counted, they do take part in terrorizing the general population.

No Muslim country? This list is wrong. Islam is all about violence. All 25 countries in this list must be Muslim majority countries.

I'm quite sure they have counted domestic violence only and no terrorism or civil war etc.

I believe they have counted domestic/organized crimes only and not terrorism or civil war.

They are only counting domestic violence. Terrorism goes in the rank of unsafe/dangerous countries where Pakistan is in top 10

Read this part it clearly includes the cartels form of terrorism (intimidation of general population through violence). The cartels generally use the same tactics as ISIS (mass execution, burning down, destroying property) against opposition from both rival gangs, government officials and the civilians but they just don't publish videos and pictures about it on social media.

Mexico, 21.5

With a total area of almost 2 million square kilometers (over 760,000 square miles) the fifth largest country in the Americas by area, Mexico is notorious for its enormous problems with drug trafficking and related criminality that very often also involves homicides. These – sometimes very brutal – murders are often used to intimidate rival gangs.

Chile and Costa Rica stand out in Latin America and the Caribbean as very peaceful countries

They count all kinds of murders so your argument is invalid

Yes it does that's why the murder rate of Somalia is 20

they count all murders by terrorists or by thugs

The cartels in Latin america make ISIS look like school children

Then this entire survey is invalid. Only in Pakistan, more people get killed than all these countries put together.

Ohh.. they do publish videos and pictures, make public statements, probably you have not seen them. I have seen a lot of them in American/Mexican newspapers both online and newsprint when I was there.
Their tactics will put ISIS to shame.
And drug cartels come under the category of organized crime.

Murder and mass murder are different.
Murder for money, personal feud, gangster rivalry is different from senseless killing of innocents for ideology is different.

But the number of homicides in these 25 states is higher

So what is Pakistan position ?
6.4 per 100,000

That's interesting indeed. You should highlight that information. In that case one must admit that Pakistan is doing quite well in spite of such huge internal problems. BTW, can you please attach a source to it ?
