Export bids for JF-17 Thunder Multirole Lightweight Fighter Aircraft

Why not? You don't like JF -17? Just curious.

Honestly, I haven't seen any telemetry data or anything like that but I know it's a F7 derivative and it's a first attempt at making a fighter aircraft by Pakistan so I don't think it will be competitive against any of the aircraft we would theoretically oppose. Also, it's telling that China jointly developed it and they haven't touched it. That probably is the most telling.

Ok, your choice. It is not F-7 derivative by the way. Not by a long shot. I believe Myanmar already operates some of our defence equipment. Did any of it failed to live up to expectations? Ever? Sri Lankans might be able to give you a clue on how our defence items work in real conflict. Just saying.

Do I need telemetry data to know what it was derived from?
Hi,

It is apparent from your post that you have no Idea of what youre talking about.

Allow me to broaden your narrow vision, Since you opened your big mouth by calling it f-7 derivative, you might want to share the telemetry data (as if such details are available) of F-7 so that we can confirm that Telemetry (fancy word) data somewhat matches to Jf-17. or derivative as you have put it with your enormous knowledge

No ill intentions here but

1. I was just curious as to why countries would refrain from naming buyer's for their export. Its natural that they would advertise it to get more buyers. If other countries see that someone is buying your jets then they would think its reliable and hence their interest would rise. For Eg. Rafale, Typhoons, Sukhois etc

2. I am also not sure as to why a buyer wouldn't like to be named as i think all almost all countries regularly buy fighter jets. Its not a controlled tech like long range missiles or air defense or nuclear tech

The only scenario it makes sense if

a. Buyer has international sanctions against it.
b. Pakistan doesn't have good public relationship with buyer or vice versa
c. China or some major ally of Pak doesn't approve of the buyer or vice versa for buyer's alliers

I would be very interested in hearing your thoughts
