What a load of articles . This comes in backdrop of rafale deal ?

Guys IAF to add more than 600 4.5-5th generation fighters in next 15-18 years and numbers would go up depending on how far MK2 and AMCA FGFA turns out to be . Even China will loose it's number superiority by then in terms of replacement they will go thru . If am not wrong China will produce 50 Jf17 for Pakistan by 2019 and Pakistan will add same number or less than that due to upgrade needed to be carried out of older Jf17 . These articles just presume the total number by 2020-25 of Jf17.

I dint even added mMRCA replacement Sukois to this 600 numbers

No Tejas yet, No FGFA No Su50 yet or in near future and u want to beat China in numbers game who is continuously developing its AIR arsenal and giving Russians and Americans tough time. You need to get bit realistic. Don't have any thing assured for next 2 years and u r talking about 15-20 years.

USA made F-16's are not available. French Rafale have been bought by India. Euro Fighter is also not available.

We are struggling to take our limited production capacity of 25 JF-17 units per year to somehow 50 units per year through directly buying Chinese made units(capacity is low due to both financial and technical reasons). And here we have been bestowed with a news of 200 new jets in a year...and guess what, it may include J-31 and Y-20 as well

J-31 and J-20 those are going to come but in 5-7 yrs. At present PAF and Navy requires to replace their aging fleet. JF-17 is not the right aircraft for the need of the hour.

Soon PA is going to go into Afghanistan against the Terrorists. Gawadar and Chinese workers working in Pakistan would require protection.

JF-17 is a great Air Craft and we are going for lot of them and yes we would also buy more F-16 and may be J-10 B too

I am just pointing at the timeframe...you can very well replace all aging fighters with Chinese planes...however it will take a little longer..though putting all eggs in one basket is usually discouraged...but then either PAF has to put up lots of money or look the Chinese way...

Trust me I don't want you to be Pakistan and we definitely don't want to be Indian. That is why we went off our way in 1947.

1,300 million Indian's got togather and after 68 years of independance you managed to begin building a carrier NOW. 190 million Pakistan's trust me will get there as well but being smaller slightly later ...
