Sanskrit fever grips Germany: 14 universities teaching India's ancient language struggle to meet dem

are you even literate or you are very ignorant because you born with silver spoon up your @ss ?

He is incredibly racist too. You should read the things he says against Sikhs and the Gurus. He hates Punjabis, justifies the caste system. He's also islamophobic. All that while he admits to having a wife and child. Such a sick guy, I pray for his family.

i was good at sanskrit till std 5-6
Go through Manusmriti and shove into yours !
manusmirti is the personal thoughts of a person written few thousand years back.

There are flaws in the ancient Indian society because of castes.

They made a mistake by dividing the society into castes or classes and educating only a select few.

When Invaders came the society is already divided and it became easy for them to attack the Native culture. This time around such mistakes should not be repeated.
ancient caste system is very much different from the its modern form.

Looks like my estimates were low. While looking for sources I found :

SCs, STs form 25% of population, says Census 2011 data - Indian Express
how they found this fig .. when caste based census was not doen in 2011?

Great.

Yoga now belongs to US.

Sanskrit now belongs to Germans.

Caste, sati, dowry and poverty belong to Hindoos and Indians. Secularism zindabad.

Indian food does not become British food when it is prepared in London. Sanskrit would not become a German language just because some Germans learn it.

This line of thought that "if more foreigners learn Sanskrit , it would cease to be an Indian language" is juvenile.Foreigners learning your language ,is always good for your country.A person who is interested in Indian culture is less probable of generalizing Indians on line of "All Indians are rapist/slumdogs/snake-charmers", and speak out when such generalizations are made.

This is seen in Indian History field too. Ever since Marxist plague hit India, most of good Indian history has been written by Foreigners. Even USSR marxists wrote a balanced textbook on Indian history (much more balanced than Indian marxist historians).

The real crisis of Sanskrit today is that Indian Sickulars (Crypto-Chrislamists) ,due to their hold on Indian education machinery, have reduced Sanskrit to a near dead language. Even PM talked about this problem yesterday.

LOL. What forward caste ? :cheesy:

Kings and warriors were Kshatriyas. Merchants were Vaishyas. How can Brahmins, kshatriyas and traders constitute 10 to 15% of any society ?

The entire economy will collapse. LOL.

Economic systems of past were not same as those of today. In ancient and medieval times, close to 10% of population of any nation was conscripted into army, and there was no walmart in 490CE.Proportion of merchants were higher than compared to today as more merchants were needed due to inefficiency in supply chain.Today a train could carry mangoes from Lucknow to Mumbai in a couple of days. In older times, they would have passed through hands of a dozen merchants in order to reach even the nearest city. Another point to be noted is that most of Trader caste of today have originated from Artisan guilds.Brahmins ,even today, constitute only 3.5% of total population.

Taking this into account, it is not too farfetched a scenario , if Priest/teacher/bureaucrat + King/warrior + Trader/Merchant/Artisan class constituted more than 30% of population.

Brahmins are even sicker than that. They call Sanskrit devabhasa and say the "gods" only understand Sanskrit. They then only teach Sanskrit to other brahmins and deny every other caste. Such sick people are unparalleled in history.

Pathetic troll,

There was never a bar on anyone, excepts outcastes, on attaining education. The difference between a Brahmin, a Kshatriya , a Vaishya, and a Shudra was the length of time period allowed for education.

Wow! Haha looks like sanskrit is coming back to life. No matter how hard the barbaric invaders of India tried to pull us down, at the end of the day our great culture rises again!

Sanskrut means civilized. In civilized ages, it is bound to come back.

You idiot, I am talking about history.

I am talking history too retard.

IT is not them learning that makes the difference, its the Indians rejecting sanskrit that will make us loose it. Pretty much like Yoga which has more practitioners in the US than in India and now disenfranchised from Hinduism.

Each Varna had its own place and was not greater or lesser than the other. Brahmins were respected, kshatriyas were feared. Vaishyas had the money and Shudra's dominated the service sector and manufacturing (including agriculture) But they all had their place in society. Now one was greater or smaller.

As a matter of fact, compared to the numbers in today's modern army, historically no nation had a large standing army. It was just to expensive to maintain them unless one when to war on a contineous basis and became a conqurer like Asoka or Chandragupta.

Most people were only part time warriors. Dedicated trained warriors were very few.

For e.g. in Kerala, Nairs who were the predominant warrior class were Shudras. But still considered upper class in comparison to other classes.

Caste meant little, contribution to society defined your status in society. Pretty much like today.

Most temple land were nominally held by Brahmins, but they were only entitled to 10% of the produce. The shudra's who worked in the field got the rest. This changed only when the British arrived and they in their ignorance transferred 100% of the land share to the Brahmins and Nairs in kerala.

Community land banks were destroyed when the british introduced zamindari system thus creating a class divide.

Man stop using abuses. I am respectfully discussing this with you and open to learning something new.

How is SC outside caste system, SC stands for schedule CASTES.
These are facts happened !

Guys, SC of today does equal to outcastes of older time, and yes these outcastes/pancham/dalits came from all castes. Common reason of a person being outcasted was consumption of prohibited meat (not beef alone, but a long list which I have repeatedly posted in this forum under my now older banned handle in beef threads), infidelity by a higher caste women with a lower caste man , and in very recent time (1000CE onward) crossing the sea, induging in butchering and skinning trade, and royal executioner and corpse handler (chandal).

There are many others reasons and this fifth category originated quite late. Only Chandals are mentioned as outcaste in religious era literature.

All defilement had a prayaschitham which could be used to get back your caste status.

Most of the time, it was very difficult for a person to afford a penance. This is the reason that pancham caste ballooned to nearly 1/5 of Hindu population.

Dont worry mate, all these universities have courses on terrorism studies which cover Pakistan.

And I am sure more students attend those courses than Sanskrit. You also have something to feel proud about!

:rofl::rofl::lol:
