Sorry..You mean Indian culture=Sanskrit??..
I am proud of my culture..Is it a problem for you??..Some people gives more prominence to other cultures and languages than their mother tongue..You want me to follow your very footsteps??..I don't hate other languages.I could speak 5 Indian languages including my mother tongue..Most probably,I could understand way more Sanskrit than you ...

I am not a north Indian and I also hate the imposition of Hindi as a national language. But to suggest that Sanskrit has no influence on Indian languages is stupid. Many authentic south Indian names, words etc. have the same meaning in Sanskrit. I dont know any south Indian language, so please tell me if there is any different south Indian word for Mandir.

Of course you are right. The modern malayalam is a mix of Sanskrit ,Tamil ,Hindi etc.
But the root of the original malayalam is thani malayalam.
Standard Malayalam...But they are many other dialects of Malayalam which has minimal- negligible Sanskrit influences like jeseri(lakshadweep Malayalam),paniyar, malaivedan etc....

It is called thani malayalam and not just malayalam for a reason. I am asking him to write malayalam. Of course he can start speaking Aramaic and call it Aramaic malayalam, but that is still not malayalam.

There is something called Vedic Sanskrit as well. Languages in India are influenced by each other over the centuries. It is practically impossible to find a "pure" language. Paani is not an Indian word but today people across India say paani for water.

It could be possible that there are still some "pure languages" which are not influenced by Sanskrit.

Fact is some Indians in other state cant differentiate between Kerala and TN .Some guys even dont know a state called Kerala.

You should visit Kerala. Then you can see the real beauty of our state.

What are you complaining about? There are people in India who are called Chinese when they visit north India. You guys are having it too easy.

And I have heard a lot about Kerala and know the difference between Kerala, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh etc.

Mandhir means temple in hindi??..In Malayalam common usage is ambalam(I think its also from Sanskrit, not sure) and KOVIL (pure dravidan origin, rarely used in Malayalam, more common in Tamil)....Kannada 'temple' is 'devasthana(Sanskrit in origin)...
I am not saying that Malayalam has any Sanskrit influences..Even high literature Malayalam is immensely Sanskritized and has around 80% Sanskrit words..
But we have our own pure Malayalam also(non Sanskritized version)..

LOL!! They are very different.

I can speak, read and understand Hindi. I can understand a little bit of Haryanvi and Punjabi. Pure Bhojpuri, not the ones they show in Bollywood, is very different from Hindi and the same goes for the genuine Rajasthani language.
