INWOOD — A video shows a young man being punched and hit with a baton by a group of police officers during a drug bust in Inwood — the latest in a string of controversial arrests that have been caught on tape.

Francisco Caminero, 23, was arrested on Sunday, Aug. 10, after officers allegedy saw him deal drugs and found him with bags of cocaine in his pocket in front of 148 Sherman Ave., authorities said.

A video taken by an onlooker shows a few officers talking to Caminero when he raises his hands into the air. When
he moves his hands down towards his shorts pocket, one officer can be
seen slamming him against the metal grate of a closed storefront. Four other officers help to pull Caminero to the ground, while a fifth officer warns bystanders to stay back, the video shows.

Once
Caminero is on the ground, one officer punches him several times in the
face while a second hits his lower body first with his hand and later
with a baton, according the video. Several bystanders are heard
shouting, “Why are you punching him?” while an officer can be heard
yelling, “Give me your hand.”After Caminero is handcuffed, officers lift him to his feet and escort him to a police van, the video shows

Sadistic cop keeps tazering unresponsive man
- A startling display of police brutality was captured on camera on Friday, Aug. 15th. Officer Becky Sotherland, 32, of the Pine Ridge tribal police screams at a man to get into her vehicle as he lay on the ground helpless and handcuffed.

The man, incapacitated, unresponsive, and unable to get into the vehicle, is hit with a stun gun repeatedly as Sotherland yells at him to get in the car threatening that, “It’s gonna get you again,” referring to the 50,000 volts of electrical current delivered by the tazer.

Sotherland continually brutalizes the man until finally horrified onlookers begin yelling for the assault to stop, telling the officer they will help get the man into the vehicle themselves, as they are disgusted at the scene taking place before their eyes.

Sotherland obviously wasn’t using the stun gun as a means of defense, s the man is laying helplessly on the ground handcuffed, rather she is using it as a means of sadistic punishment in an attempt to motivate him to get into her police cruiser as she is seemingly too lazy to simply put the suspect into the cruiser herself.

Jake Tapper Goes Off on Police Reaction in #Ferguson: ‘This Doesn’t Make Any Sense!’
Just after 10 p.m. local time in Ferguson, Missouri Monday night, CNN’s Jake Tapper
asked his cameraman to take a step back and zoom out so he could
highlight what he clearly thought was the absurdity of the situation on
the ground. With the National Guard and police sent in to disperse what
appeared to be almost entirely peaceful protesters, an incensed Tapper
told viewers what was really going on here:
