Wow, it firmly puts to rest any doubts about whether China have MIRV capability or not. It also highlights how badly Western analysts underestimates China's strategic nuclear force and the estimated 250 nuclear warheads that China is only suppose to possess as woefully optimistic from the West.

So why there is pictures of Russian R-39 SLBM and Trident MIRV's if this is article about JL-2? What is name of this paper and how trustworthy it is.

This article is basically a history of JL-2 development, part of a comparison with Trident II-D5 and R-39. the article suggests that JL 2 and DF-31 were parallel projects rather than JL-2 was developed based on DF-31, and JL-2 equipped with carbon fiber shell due to four failed tests.

Instead of wasting time with JL-2,attention should be firmly placed on JL-2A and JL-3。

Alright?:azn:

Some white men just can't believe they can't dominate Chinese anymore. They still try to believe China is not able to hit USA with MIRV even without using submarine launch ICBM. They also trying very hard to force themselves believe ,China do not possess powerful miniature nuke warhead able to fit in ICBM.

Mind you, this video is from 1967. Now is 2014.

If Chinese published talking detail about some special weapons. That means its in service for quite sometime.

Now that the JL-2 details have been revealed tells us that progress has been made on those programs... Doesn't it?

This is a clear warning message to Japan; you are on your own if you wanna fight against China.

I don't doubt the project is real and will eventually be operational. But can someone give us an idea of what that source is? In such a tightly controlled media market, you would think the Chinese government would "leak" information to its most widely read publications.

On another note, the reports regarding this may be new to some who may not have full access to information on the web, but I have been reading about the testing for over 10 years now.
