Yes yes, same concept indeed. Extremely noisy DC shunt motors as compared to super-silent IC engines and lots of traffic jams on rail lines as compared to junction-free roads. :whistle:
if you were traveling on a road which has metro bus track above you cant guess buses are running over your head until you are told. And its definitely built for similar task but here each locomotive has more space for passengers.

Check the width of the elevated tracks again. They aren't as wide as flyovers, which translate into significant cost savings as well. Makes no sense build flyovers all over the city for the exclusive use of Metro buses. :crazy:
