Stop making stuff up. There is absolutely no way for the Russian AND American submarine rescue experts to arrive within five HOURS of the accident. Just no way. STOP.MAKING.STUFF.UP.

He didn't say submarines rescue crews to be fair to him. Like I said you can somewhat understand Russian officials being there (not rescuers).

as Abingdonboy mentioned Russian experts were perhaps on site beforehand, as for USA, I just guessed

Will Russia allow US rescue team to get close to Kilo? I think India should appeal rescue from USN.

USN can have such rescue subs on station anywhere in the world in ~12 hours AFAIK and the IN has signed a pact to be part of this umbrella.

so come on, what wait for?

it's time GOI starts to put men's life before any security concern.

guys, it's our Independence Day. No Cheap shots, even when they've done so against us.

Any word on what causes this massive explosion as of yet?

I don't think exact causes will be made public even after the investigation

Actually, I was more annoyed at his reflexive cry for foreign help at first sign of trouble. Grow a spine and fix this yourself. It's not that difficult: the sub is in shallow waters. Get some divers down there pronto instead of looking for outside experts as the first instinct.

may be USN is on its way or may be have reached the spot already....

use your sats to get real time data... its daylight now, you will find out

Am I the only one thing the Russians have some serious explaining to do? The sub had already been in trouble on its way back to India and now this. Russians are not exactly known for their quality.

No one from the Indian govt/ Navy has appealed for outside help. This is one guy's opinion.

But I agree with your sentiments and this is generally how India likes to act- it doesn't take much from anyone as far as assistance/aid is concerned.
