2013 Elections – Another Sad Day In Pakistan’s History

Oh bhi independent commission has been set up there to report all rigging and unfair voting and Imran/Abrar will go there

But let assume PTI would have won those three or four seats in Punjab where you say rigging/cheating happened

so what would have change this ? It would have make IK as prime minister of Pakistan and PTI as leading party ?..

No one is saying that PML(N) would have lost all seats it won..but rigging did happen against PTI..simple fact.

they are even struggling and looking for others party to make a government in KPK

lol.."Struggling" does not represent the true situation..

PTI is in contact with JI and Independents..lets see what happens..Independents to PML(N) ko b chahiye in federal...

Polling stopped for two hours? That's too suspicious, the SC should look into the case and if needed conduct a recount or if possible a revote.

Yes..counting stopped for two hours....

and by the time counting resumed..PML(N) had gotten the 'lead' ... You are wise enough to understand what happened in those 'two hours' ....

That i not a big deal. Whenever officials feel that law and order situation is being affected they can stop the polling and after controlling the situation polling restarts. The time is usually extended to compensate for the lost time.

I get, the security, but when you stop polling and then restart, and suddenly the previous trailing party is now leading. It's just too suspicious, there will be a lot of raised eyebrows specially considering poll rigging and corruption is in the blood of our South Asian politicians.

after victory of Nawaj sarif there is suddenly a flood of PML(N) Supporters! Most of them were silent for last 2 yrs because of vocal PTI posters.

That is not with the polling but with the counting process that you are talking about. Counting takes place at two levels. First at the polling station level where results are compiled and signed by elections commission official and then a copy given to all the agents of contesting candidates.

Then the results are sent to main ECP office where recounting takes place based on returning officials results and final results compiled. Here since results comes in from many polling stations counting gets delayed due to delay in receiving results. Then the results are compiled and officially announced.

If some one has any doubt he can simply collect copies of all polling station results from his agents and compiled the result himself.

after victory of Nawaj sarif there is suddenly a flood of PML(N) Supporters! Most of them were silent for last 2 yrs because of vocal PTI posters.

And the PTI supporters have suddenly disappeared. Perhaps in a state of shock and shall be back in couple of days with all guns blazing.

By the way do not count me as die hard PML (N) supporter.

Internet would be a wrong place to judge the elections in south Asia. Sadly I'm going to see a lot of us getting disappointed in 2014.

What the hell was this noob(IK) going to do anyways? Why does he even deserve such a position? He's just like Rahul Gandhi. Let these people prove themselves by administering a state/province first, then hold them in a high regard.

Like Nawaz Sharif has proved himself being some Augustus Caesar being two times the Premiere and also CM punjab.:rolleyes1:

The only way Pakistan can be saved is through mass education. That may bring the ability for the people to look at right from wrong! I just don’t see how else this nation can overlook their carnage of the system.

According to some sources a very big portion of the population is of age 30 and under. Just imagine all those uneducated people after 5 or 10 years. Where is the country heading.

They are purposely not given their constitutional right to quality education so that the politicians can guarantee their votes for the seats.

I wish all the youth come out and continue where Qardi ended and lost hope let them make Pakistan's very own Maydaan Al Tahreer in Karachi and Lahore. I want Pakistan's version of Orange Revolution in Pakistan. Pull these politicians from their houses.

But wait, this is Pakistan, let the people sleep.

A sad day indeed. Another 5 years of drone strikes, bomb blasts, terror, and corruption. Punjab and Sindh will sink in poverty. Start packing your bags and move to Pakthunka.

It's a good thing that I'm from there.

Imran Khan, you are still the leader of Pakistan for me and millions of other Pakistanis. Luckily an entire province is in your control. After 5 years, let's see the difference between Pakthunka and the other 4 provinces.

So many pages. anyway why SAD day?

i believe its a good day . whoever won , the main and POSITIVE and the fantastic thing has happened when youngsters voted out of free will.

Congrats Pakistan

Long live democratic dictatorship of Pakistan. Pakistan's very own version of democracy where the people are not considered citizens but useless animals. No matter whether citizens vote or don;t vote it does not make any difference. Same people will come again and again.

Hell even Atheists will run Pakistan better than the Muslim leaders of Pakistan.

He won by massive rigging.

He won by people's vote who want PMLN as only practical party in the government.
Rigging is mostly done by mummy/daddy oriented crowd of PTI and now they are blaming on others.

Correct your statistics.

“He’ll bring them death & they’ll love him for that” - a quote from Gladiator

I am in a state of shock since yesterday. I cannot understand the nation of Pakistan and its people. It must be that I’ve been away from my motherland for so long that I do not see how people think now. What happened yesterday? It has left me beyond confused. I am tempted to blame it on rigging, but then again, looking at the corruption surrounding the past elections, should I be shocked? I voted for PTI; how did PMLN won a massive landslide?

I am not suggesting that they did not get any votes; I am just surprised that people had the nerves to see them as liable candidates and actually voted for them. If we were to judge them based on their performance during the last 5 years then they should have gotten zero seats. PPP & PMLN were partners in the last government along with ANP and MQM. They were all together in the loot and plunder of Pakistan. Let me remind you what happened in Punjab in just the last five years.

18-22 hours of regular load shedding, Dengue virus killed thousands, and hundreds fell victim to bad medicine. Shahbaz sharif’s laptop project, Danish schools, and the Metro Bus projects were marred by corruption. Do you remember the incident when Shahbaz Shariff’s daughter had the poor guy at the bakery beaten up? Nawaz Shariff cannot even get a good hair transplant; I mean do you really expect him to run the country?

It seemed that the people were looted for twenty years and then on May 11 they took off their covers again to say that was not enough. It is shocking, when will we learn and understand? It is safe to say that the next five years will be even worse now that the Judiciary and the legislators will work together to degrade the country.

If the elections in Pakistan were held under the constitutional requirements, none of these crooks should have been allowed to run for the elections in the first place. The only way Pakistan can be saved is through mass education. That may bring the ability for the people to look at right from wrong! I just don’t see how else this nation can overlook their carnage of the system.

Rubbish,

2013 Elctions were historical in the history o Pakistan when people decided which party has to lead them and this is showing democratic trend of our nation.

But there are still extremists mind parties couldn't accept results because their anti-Pakistan agenda now has been failed.

every govt advocated good relations with India.

so till before last point everything will be same.

I see only some harsh steps by Nawaz against Musharraf.

And i hope Nawaz will work for winning KPK :)

:what: oh please devil. your party won you had massive rigging in parts of Punjab and you know it.

The mumi dady dudes have failed PTI in Punjab, if they had came out and voted like us PTI would have better position there.

They dint rigg as they dont have that skill which old goons have.

The elections were historical Because PPP did not rigg these for the first time. :)

i would blame zardari for not rigging. :)
