2013 Elections – Another Sad Day In Pakistan’s History

Except no one would complain if Nawaz actually won fairly but there is enough videos floating around that says otherwise.

If I voted for PTI and PMLN won... why am I not out on the street with massive protests over massive rigging? I really feel that the Pakistani nation has been A$$ F()c@#d for over twenty years by the Sharif Brothers but on May 11th the Pakistanis in Punjab took off their pants saying we need more and it is your for another 5 years. This is sad… We can say that rigging happened but today’s poll say that 37% of YOUTH voted for PMLN- This says much about our youth.

Well then they deserve what they get. :D

In federal government the prime minister is anti PML (N), punjab government the CM is anti PML (N) even then PML (N) managed to rig the polls. Better come up with excuse that is good eneough.

Come up with proof and take it to ECP or court of law. Is it that hard.

Ok we will see if they do, and lets see what Nawaz does. Who knows he may do something genuine for a change.

What the hell was this noob(IK) going to do anyways? Why does he even deserve such a position? He's just like Rahul Gandhi. Let these people prove themselves by administering a state/province first, then hold them in a high regard.

Your pants were up or down

Yes as compared to PML(N) politically Ofcourse PTI is in-experienced..but their performance was all but dismal..conditions have become worse and worse after each govt. that's why we say that "oh look man at that time haalat were better"..as we have Amnesia where we forgot what national blunders and corruption have the past govt.'s done.. in those govt.'s the Pakistani nation was lacking it's Three main priorities..HEALTH, EDUCATION and the financial economic climate of the country..

What PTI lacks politically makes it up for HONESTY whether you agree or not..

Its first time PTI participated in election at national level in all four provinces and they never been in any government so all they have offered for Pakistan so far is promises for better Pakistan, naya pakistan, tabdeeli/inqiliaab etc in speeches

How you are so sure that candidate of PTI will never commit any corruption and they will be all angels.we cannot compare PTI with others party because PTI never been in rule or in any government so thats why no label/accusation of corruption or failure but now they have chance to do some real works in KPK and then we will see how they goes. To talk about change in speeches is very easy but to bring change on ground is tough :)

Your pants were up or down

he took off his pants down for imran khan lol

but no use of it :D

You should not expect from democracy to bring your personal desired results

If my candidate win by this process then election was fair and unbiased

if candidate of opposite side win by the same process then it was open cheating

this is subcontinent mentality

Bhai jaan, no one here has this approach..we aint kids..

But even YOU know that massive rigging happened in Punjab..specially in Lahore where PTI was beating the crap outa PML(N)! Hamid Khan leading by 10 thousand votes, Imran Khan leading by 5 thousand votes etc..and then the polling was stopped..and 2 hours after..all of a sudden..the lead of PTI was turned into "trail" ...

We all know what happened...

You guys must have really hated the other parties for wanting some inexperienced cricket guy running your country. All that Afghan weed leaking into Pakistan.

what happened? enlighten us so that we may learn the trick as well.

With anti PML (N) CM in the office rigging is not an easy task so come up with better excuse.

Oh bhi independent commission has been set up there to report all rigging and unfair voting and Imran/Abrar will go there

But let assume PTI would have won those three or four seats in Punjab where you say rigging/cheating happened

so what would have change this ? It would have make IK as prime minister of Pakistan and PTI as leading party ?..they are even struggling and looking for others party to make a government in KPK

I never even mentioned a religious gov.t in my post, so from where did you come to conclusion that i want Taliban governance?

Its you who's speaking of a "Islamic Democracy"!, Not ME!

Secondly, what in the world is a "Islamic Democracy"? Some sort of a new Caliphate?

Who qualifies to vote in such a "Islamic Democracy"?

What will the law of the state be? Shariah? If so, which type? Sunni Shariah?, Shia shariah? Salafi Shariah?

Is the leader going to be a Shia? Or a Sunni? Or a Salafi?

If Shia, i don't think Saudis will be happy, neither the Salafi segment of Pakistani society, expect a civil war Syria style, suicide bombings, be-headings, floggings, you know the rest.

If Sunni, Salafi and Shia won't be happy, same conclusion as the first one.

If Salafi, Shia and Sunni not happy. Expect mass beheadings in the name of Islam.

Expect Shia, Sufis, and many Sunnis to be declared as Kafirs.

So, how exactly will this "Islamic Democracy" of yours function? Mind explaining?

I ask you to tell me what would be the suitable governance system for Muslim countries like Pakistan? Since democracy can't work?

Or Islamic Democracy is just a fancy name..call it educated democracy and make a law that one who has not done 12 years of regular studies can't vote..Well its just a suggestion..Point is, what governing system will work in Pak? and how?

Polling stopped for two hours? That's too suspicious, the SC should look into the case and if needed conduct a recount or if possible a revote.

I am beginning to feel ( not without sufficient reason) that the opinion expressed by Pakistanis on this forum is nowhere close to those felt by the people on the street & villages of Pakistan.

I think the same can be said about India and Bangladesh too. If we go by the popular opinion of pdf Modi would clean sweep the next elections in India and most Bangladeshis are jamatis, but we know that none of those are true. Similarly most Chinese I have met in real life are quite friendly which is different from what you generally see here. Internet can be really deceiving!
